Her ass was tighter than her pussy, but he owned her.

This was his mate.

The love of his life.

He growled out his release, which took him by surprise as he filled her hot ass.

The claiming was finally complete.

They both collapsed. The pack was close, not leaving them alone, and for the first time in three years, he felt their love, their acceptance, and he knew they would protect his mate.

Misha locked their fingers together. His dick was still balls deep inside her ass, but she didn’t seem to care. The moon cast a soft glow on them, and Decker lifted enough so he could look at her. “I love you, Misha, and I will never hurt you like that again.”

She smiled up at him. “I know.” She lifted and kissed his lips. “And I love you.”

He didn’t know how he got so lucky, but what he did know was that he’d never let her go.

Epilogue

Five years later

Chasing children while being five months pregnant was exhausting. Misha laughed as Blueberry took over and sent her across the field to sit down at the picnic mat they’d set up. They were all enjoying the pack’s annual fair, where more than one pack was in residence. These events were usually tense affairs, but so far, with the other alpha females, Misha had been able to keep things amicable.

Bringing the packs closer and learning to trust kept them all safe, and with a second child on the way, Misha wanted to do everything possible to protect her family. Their little girl was running with the other children from all packs. They were playing tag, and it was so lovely to see their little Belle having so much fun.

“You shouldn’t be overdoing it,” Decker said, coming to their blanket with a plate of food.

Her stomach chose that moment to rumble, and she held her hands out, feeling somewhat like a child. “Feed me.”

He laughed. “I have to say it’s so tempting to keep you pregnant all the time. I love your appetite.”

Misha bit into a bread roll and smiled at him. Like always, Decker didn’t believe in personal space, and so he was right next to her.

“What you love is what it’s doing to my other appetite.”

“I’m irresistible, Misha, I get that, and more importantly, I’m so happy to oblige.” He cupped her cheek and kissed her lips.

She never thought it was this possible to be happily married and mated. Decker and Belle completed her world, along with Blueberry, who was an auntie to her child. With every child they had, her world would become even more complete. This was love. This was life, and it was everything.

“Misha, there is … I know this isn’t the place, but I wanted to tell you the truth about your parents.”

She placed a finger to her lips. “I know.”

“No, you don’t, and I hate to be the one to tell you.”

She shook her head. “I know what my parents tried to do. I know all about what they did to their newborn babies. I know about Blueberry and what she did, and your father.”

He frowned. “How?”

“I … Blueberry likes to keep diaries. When you were meeting with the pack, during the time I was heavily pregnant with Belle and couldn’t go with you, I stayed with Blueberry. I found her diary collection and I read it. I’ve known for five years.”

“How are you not angry with me?”

“Why would I be angry with the man who was willing to keep this secret so I wouldn’t know how awful my parents were? My life was saved coming to this pack, and I believe the hands of fate played a part in that, Decker. I would have been dead and we’d never have met. You wouldn’t know true love with your mate.”

“I had no idea you knew.”

“You have to remember, we don’t keep secrets from each other. Now, can I eat this plate of food? Otherwise, I’m going to embarrass you.”

Decker smiled. “I’ve already asked Blueberry to take care of Belle. I’m quite happy for you to embarrass me in the forest.”

Misha shoved the bread roll into her mouth and grabbed Decker’s hand, marching him toward the forest.

Stupid pregnancy hormones.
