“Why is she so evil?!”

“Forget about Saylor,” Katie said. “It’s almost time.”

Breaking free of them, I furiously wiped vodka and chocolate liqueur out of my eyes. “How will I know?”

“You’ll know,” Dean said before picking a squealing Katie up and carrying her into one of the tents.

I had to avert my eyes quick. I’d never seen anyone get someone out of their panties that fast.

Ducking my head, I weaved through the party—catching a crafty bump or grind as I made for the living room. Well, living room was too small a phrase for the glitzy amphitheater I stepped into. The whole place was turned into a dance floor/viewing area. Projecting on the walls was Everleigh’s idea of a sleepover movie: porn.

There were too many people crushed in for me to worry about her noticing one crasher in a face mask. Also, too many for me to find her.

Don’t worry, guys. I pressed my fist over my heart. I’m going to make it right. I’ll save you no matter what it takes.

The music cut off with a wave of screeching feedback.

“Hey!”

“What’s going on?”

“Iris?” I’d know that voice anywhere. “What are you doing?”

“Relash, relash,” went through all the speakers, quieting people in the other rooms. Iris stumbled onto the deejay’s stage.

I watched her out of the corner of my eye. The other eye searched the crowd, trying to find out where Everleigh’s voice came from.

“Everyone, let’s give it up for the party of the year!”

“Yeah! Whooo!”

Iris yukked it up. “It’s about t-time we moved on from all that dark— scary shit and partied Royal-style.”

Another wave of hoots and cheers kicked off.

“But if this is a sleepover,” Iris continued, “we’ve got to do it right. A little Never Have I Ever... strip edition.”

The roars blew out my eardrums. It was ridiculous how pumped they were for this game. Every Royal party I went to, half the party was out of their clothes by midnight. It amazed me they still got excited over seeing each other naked.

“All right, bitches. Let’s start you off with— with— with—” She was skipping like a scratched record. “With an easy one. Never have I ever... had sex!”

Satin tops and silk boxers rained on a laughing Iris. They were all barely wearing anything to begin with. This would be a short game.

Iris stumbled off, down a pajama bottom. Someone else tripped up there to take her place as I approached the stage.

“Never have I ever... slept with a professor.”

A surprising number of clothes came off. If I was playing, I’d be down to my thong. Did administration know their staff was regularly partaking in the student honeypot?

A girl with pierced nipples made for the stage steps. I quickly sidestepped and got in front of her, running up past the deejay. He handed me a mic without question. Nobody was going to stop this game.

I cleared my throat, looking out over the crowd that was growing bigger as people came in from other rooms to see. I couldn’t spot Everleigh, but I knew she was there.

Watch this, bitch.

“Never have I ever... used the T.O.D. Club to take revenge on someone.”

The laughing and jeers hiccupped. A weird pause as people froze with their hands on their hems.

“Huh?”

“What’d she say?”

“What’s that?”

“Skip the fake confusion,” I said. “A good chunk of the people in this room should be butt-ass naked right now.”

“Who is that?” Everleigh’s sharp voice sliced through the mumbling. “Who are you!”

I ripped off the mask. Why not? I wasn’t here to hide from Everleigh.

“How did—? Security? Call security!”

“Don’t bother,” I said. “I’ll make this quick. For six years, certain people have been using the T.O.D. Club as a means to torment, bully, and terrorize their enemies without ever having to lift a finger. They’ve let the club members take care of that for them.”

“Get her off the stage!”

“A lot of you in this room have been victims of random violence and bullying, and you didn’t know why. Exhibit A.”

The porno cut out. I didn’t know which Rogue was on the projectors, but they delivered big-time. Broadcasted on all four walls, my screenshots of the bare, non-anonymous T.O.D. page went up for everyone to see.

“What’s that?”

“What’s it say?”

“Who did that?” Everleigh screeched.

I flicked across the room and there she was, clambering out of the tent with her panties around her ankles and her top nowhere to be seen. She tripped over her feet, trying to dress herself.

“Turn those off!”

“What you’re looking at is Nathan Westchester daring Xero Lantham to rape his ex-girlfriend in revenge. You’re looking at Kimber Waverly daring Marcus Brown to cut her supposed best friend’s brakes.”

“What?!”

“Turn it off!” Everleigh gave up on finding her shirt and shoved through the crowd, beelining for me.

“None of you have to worry about reading off the walls,” I said, picking up speed. “Someone made sure that I can’t get into your inboxes, but they can’t stop you from hitting up mine. If you want to know everything T.O.D.’s done, it’s all live and free on this website.”
