Riley grinned at Ellie. “Sounds like I’m no longer the shiny new object. I’ll gladly pass that baton. Whew.” She nearly skipped away from her boss, relieved that everyone would shift their attention to Tori and stop bombarding her with questions.
She didn’t care really. She was too happy to care if everyone wanted to play twenty questions every day. She’d hit the jackpot with Milo, and she didn’t think she’d stop grinning for months.
Epilogue
One month later…
“Can we play out here tonight?” Riley asked, stopping Milo from heading into a private room with a hand on his sleeve.
“Panda girl, are you sure you’re ready for this?” he asked with a concerned look.
“Yes. Positive. I want people to see this time.” Daddy had suspended her three times on the main floor in private. She knew she was ready to let other people see them together.
“You’re so brave, Little girl. I have a special reward for you,” he shared as he took her hand to lead her to the lesser of the two stages.
Milo set his supply duffle down on the floor before pulling his T-shirt over his head to display the beautiful tattoo illustrated over his torso and shoulder. He always displayed it when they explored Shibari together.
“I love that tattoo,” she whispered, tracing the handsome knight. Tatiana had finished it this morning, and it was breathtaking. Everyone was going to love it, probably more than the Shibari they were about to perform.
“It tells our story, Little girl. Tonight, you’re taking the risk of lowering the rope for me to come free you,” Milo whispered against her ear.
Their presence in the public viewing area already had gathered attention. Milo’s demonstrations had always been popular. Since he’d bandaged Riley’s finger, he’d refrained from restraining any other member of Blaze. He hadn’t made a big showy declaration that he’d only play with Riley. That wasn’t his style.
When Riley lifted the bottom of her customary tank top to take it off, Milo’s hand covered hers, holding it in place.
“Panda sweet, you don’t have to undress.”
“I had something special made for the occasion, Daddy. I want you to see it.”
At her reassurance, he released her hand. Riley pulled off the shirt to reveal her newest patterned bra.
“Pretty,” he complimented as she shimmied out of her jeans to reveal a matching thong.
She thought she would be nervous in front of everyone, but Riley felt good in her skin. Although the lingerie felt more intimate than a bathing suit, she still felt covered. Besides, she couldn’t wait for Milo to connect all the dots in the custom pattern.
Watching Milo pull out her favorite red silk rope, Riley felt the large space contract around them. As he looped that first length of rope around her, it was as it always was—Milo weaving his web around her.
This time, he seemed to take an extraordinary amount of time crafting her chest piece. Looking down as he finished, she reached out to trace the pattern he’d woven in the center. A perfect knotted heart lay between her breasts. Her gaze flew up to meet his as his fingers curled over hers on the intricate symbol.
“I love you, Riley.”
“I love you, too, Daddy,” she whispered.
Milo leaned in to kiss her. The crowd’s oohs reminded them where they were. “Later, Little girl.”
“Make me fly?” she asked with a smile. She didn’t think her feet had touched the floor in a month, not since she’d agreed to move in with her Daddy. She’d been floating the entire time.
She still giggled when she remembered how excited Milo had been that she’d agreed to move in with him. So excited that he’d taken her home to gather what she needed that very afternoon, making sure she was fully living with him before they went to bed that night. Not to mention the amazing reward spanking he’d given her that still made her tingle at the memory. It shouldn’t really. He’d done so a few more times since then, but she still remembered the first time vividly.
He’d arranged for her furniture to be moved to storage the next day, turning her apartment into a work space. He’d also set up a schedule for her to help make sure she got enough sleep, proper nutrition, and plenty of downtime.
Riley had never been happier. Her life was perfect. She had everything she could have ever dreamed of and more.
“Always.” As Milo continued to secure her in the harness of silken threads, Riley felt his finger trace the small red dots when his face approached her body closely. She smiled to herself. How long would it take him to figure it out?
“These look like cupcakes, Little girl.”
She giggled happily as he pressed a kiss to her hip. “How many are still on your list?”
Milo reached into the back pocket of his jeans to pull out the tattered sheet Ellie had supplied him with when he first embarked on this quest to find his Little’s favorite cupcake. Only two still remained. He looked at the last two names that weren’t marked out.
