“You’re mine,” he reminded her, surging slowly deeper, watching her pussy work to take him. “You will always be mine. We will never be separated again.”

“Yes, please… yes!” She was hissing and moaning. He allowed her enough leeway to roll her hips, knowing she needed the motion to help work the ridges of his cock even deeper into that tight hole of hers.

Suddenly, Atlas could not take it anymore. Holding back was as much a trial for him as it was for her. His discipline was fading, eroded by the writhing motions of her hips, and suddenly he was surging all the way inside her, mating her with passionate intensity. He refrained from roughness. There was no need to prove his dominance or remind her who owned her. All he wanted was to connect, to feel their flesh flowing together, to be truly, deeply, and fundamentally one.

Chapter Fifteen

Three weeks later

Atlas sat out under the beautiful Dinavri sky, finally drinking the v’kar with Lord Sithren by his side. He drew in a deep breath of perfumed air and let out a long sigh of satisfaction and for the first time in a long time, peace. The v’kar was playing no small role in that. It was a brewed beverage with enough psychoactive compounds in it to drop a small elephant. Fortunately for Atlas, he had the constitution of a very large elephant, so he had a pleasant buzz going and not much more.

So far Sithren’s hospitality had been genuine. The Audacity still sat in the Dinavri port. Jerri was asleep indoors. She slept a lot at the moment. Atlas put it down to catching up on weeks of exhaustion.

“It is strange,” Atlas observed. “That Jerri should be the only human on this world, and I the only Kitari.”

“Jerri is not the only human on the world,” Sithren said casually.

“No?”

I have managed to reclaim the spy the Authority sent, the one you came to collect.”

“Tess?”

“Yes. I believe that is her name. She is recalcitrant in the extreme. I have decided to add her to my harem.”

Atlas would have been more concerned by this news if he did not know of Tess by reputation already. She was a spy, but whether she was a spy for the Authority was a matter very much up for debate. Tess owed allegiance to nobody, and the odds of her staying here in Sithren’s harem for any longer than she wanted to be there were minimal. Tess was always where she intended to be.

“I have to warn you,” Atlas said. “Tess isn’t the kind of woman to become captive if she does not want to be.”

“Oh I think it is safe to say she does not want to be my captive,” Sithren laughed. “Would you like to see her?”

“Certainly,” Atlas said. His curiosity was great. He found himself wondering if he had started something of a trend among the Dinavri. Perhaps that was too much to believe. Perhaps Tess had simply gained the attention of Sithren. Poor wretch.

Tess did not look pleased when she was brought in at Sithren’s command. She was bound hand and feet, carried in by two Dinavri bearers on a silver truss which presented her in a faintly lewd pose, fine Dinavri rope presenting the curves of her body without exposing them. The bindings were wrapped around her breasts and between her thighs, the effect erotic in the extreme. She was being turned into a work of art, a conversational display piece. She was being humiliated, in short.

“I’ve found she’s less trouble when she’s restrained,” Sithren commented. Atlas could not help but notice the possessive and fascinated expression on the Dinavri lord’s face. He was besotted. That was not necessarily good news for Tess.

She was a handsome and capable woman, though she looked much more vulnerable now. Then again, she would look vulnerable, wouldn’t she. If this were a mission, she’d be acting the part of unwilling captive.

“Atlas. Fancy seeing you here. How’s being a deserter?” Tess sassed the question.

“Fine, thank you. How’s being a prisoner?”

Tess gave as much of a shrug as she could given the circumstances. “I’ve done worse. I’ve had better.”

“She’s had nothing. I am waiting for her to submit,” Sithren said, sending an amused glance over at his captive human female.

“You will be waiting a very long time,” Tess replied. “I told you, I’m not interested in a relationship right now.”

“Being a part of my harem is not about being in a relationship. It is about being my possession.”

“Ain't he charming,” she sighed.

“Isn’t she a silly little thing,” Sithren replied in turn. “She will be very sore soon, for speaking without permission to speak, and showing disrespect to guests.”

“As if you need a reason to torment me,” Tess sighed, squirming slightly. Atlas could see that she was working on getting a hand free. In fact, if he’d had to bet on it, he’d have said that she could be out of all those ropes in a matter of seconds if she deemed it truly necessary. Atlas didn’t spoil her secret. He could feign ignorance well enough, and he was yet to decide whose side any of them were going to be left on by the end of this.
