I screeched and jumped back, but the damage was done.

I gasped and looked at the inside of my thigh, seeing the large, raised red welt, and said the first thing that came to mind.

“You almost took my clit off!”

There was a moment of silence after my yell and then, “Trust me, darlin’. I wouldn’t have taken that off. I know what I’m doing when it comes to that.”

He showed me that he knew what he was doing, too.

Very slowly. And very thoroughly.

Before I could step out of his reach completely, he had me around the waist and he was hauling me to him with unapologetic strength.

Five minutes after my legs started to work was ten minutes after Price slapped me on the ass and told me he would be out in the kitchen when I could feel them again.

Sitting up, I ignored the wetness between my legs and walked slowly to the bathroom to once again get in the shower and rinse off.

Sex with Price was great.

The only downfall was the amount of showers I now had to take to clean up.

I wasn’t the type of person that could just handle wetness between my legs forever.

I could handle it long enough to clean it up, but only just so.

After cleaning up and rinsing my hair off to wet it down once more so it didn’t resemble a just-fucked rat’s nest, I dried off and got dressed. After my hair was dry, only then did I head out to the kitchen to find out what Price had scrounged up for dinner.

Only I was expecting to find him alone.

I was not expecting to find his entire family gathered around Price’s bar, staring at me, when I made my way into the kitchen.

“Your clit okay?”

I blinked, surprised by the words coming out of Easton’s mouth.

My mouth opened and closed, words escaping me.

“It’s fine,” Price confirmed. “Made sure of it myself.”

There was a round of raucous chuckles, and my face flamed even worse.

That was one of the drawbacks of being a redhead. The inability to hide embarrassment.

“Y’all are going to hell,” I muttered darkly.

There was a cacophony of raucous laughter following my declaration.

But none of them disputed my claim.

And maybe that should’ve scared me.

CHAPTER 19

No is a complete sentence.

PRICE

“What are you doing?” Sabrina groaned when I pressed a kiss up the length of her back.

I nipped at the skin at mid-back, but continued before she swatted where I once was.

“I want you to wake up,” I told her bluntly. “I have to go to work in an hour, and I want to have a little bit of you before I go.”

“But it’s the morning,” she grumbled, still sounding half asleep. “I don’t function well in the morning.”

I chuckled and started to work my hand up underneath her shirt, but before I’d even gotten it halfway up the bottom of her ass, she sighed and squirmed.

“I have to pee,” she grunted. “Like, so bad that I can’t even think about doing anything else right now.”

“I’ve heard that having a full bladder enhances orgasms,” I teased.

She snorted and rolled off the bed fully, then hurried to the bathroom.

I rolled over, my cock achingly hard, and stared at the ceiling of my room.

I needed to remove the popcorn one of these days. It was an eyesore. However, with how hard it was to remove the popcorn ceiling, I would have to have my room off-limits for days.

Which was why it wasn’t done in the first place.

All the rest of the house was, but this one room wasn’t, mostly because I had to live in the house as I’d restored it one room at a time. This one being the one that I lived out of while I’d done it.

The toilet flushed, and then the sink turned on.

I heard the soap bottle fall first to the sink, and then a few seconds later to the floor, making me grin.

What I’d discovered over the last week was that Sabrina was most certainly not a morning person. As in, at all.

She had to have at least two cups of coffee before she could even hold a civil conversation, and I kind of liked her prickly side.

Well, to be honest, I liked fucking that prickly side right out of her.

I loved morning sex with her because I loved the sleepy girl that did everything I wanted without complaint or question.

I liked how she gave me sweet kisses. I liked even more that she was walking toward me now, her face a mask of sleepiness that would cause her to face-plant into my chest any second.

But that mask of sleepiness dissolved in half a second as she passed the bedroom window that I’d forgotten to close the blinds last night as we’d both tumbled into bed.

She stopped halfway between the bed and the window, something catching her eye.
