Marcus looks back at his brother, venom in his tone. “You mean, there’s no place for guys like you. This one is all mine.”

The woman’s tongue flicks over my clit one more time and my world explodes, shattering into a million pieces. My toes curl inside my stilettoed boots as my eyes clench, the power of my orgasm rocking right through me. My pussy convulses around her fingers and I feel her soft breath against my clit as she laughs. “I knew you’d look like a fucking angel when you came.”

Marcus groans low, his fingers tightening in my hair, and as the woman keeps moving her fingers deep inside of me, letting me ride out my high, Marcus comes hard, his warm seed hitting the back of my throat. I swallow him down and glance up to meet his heated stare.

“Like I said,” he murmurs in a low whisper, only for me to hear as his fingers graze over my pebbled nipple. “A fucking rocket.”

His stare remains locked on mine and I watch him as confusion sweeps over me. Isn’t he supposed to be the unpredictably wild one? The one with a chip on his shoulder who will go insane with the flip of a switch? Sweet little nothings is not what I expected to come out of his mouth right now, especially after the little incident involving that steak knife and his hand. If anything, it’s post orgasm gratitude. It’ll go away soon. He’ll be back to sneaking into my room with the intention of chasing me through a fucking graveyard before I know it.

Once my high has come down, the woman pulls away from me and makes a show of licking her lips as Marcus steps away and fixes himself inside his pants. Without another word, he walks away, and seeing that the show is over, Levi gets up and makes his way back toward his drum set.

Roman holds out his hand and helps the woman to her feet as I sit up on the coffee table. My knees close and I instantly feel my wetness soaking between my legs.

The woman glances down at me with a smug expression that I instantly hate. “I don’t hand out favors,” she tells me, flipping her dark hair back over her shoulder. “I’ll be expecting the same in return when I see you next, and be warned, I don’t forget when I’m owed a favor.”

And with that, Roman walks her out of the room, leaving me sitting here, in a room full of rapists, murderers, and thieves in nothing but my birthday suit.

Three hours of sleep is all I get before there’s an asshole barging down the door of my torture chamber. “For fuck’s sake,” I groan, pulling the old pillow right over my head as the sound of the heavy metal scrapping against stone pierces through my head. “Get lost. I’m sleeping.”

“Get up,” Levi’s familiar growl echoes through the room and bounces off the walls right down the long hallway.

“Whatever bullshit you have planned for me today can wait. I’m not in the mood to be stalked through your stupid-ass castle. Let me sleep.”

“Suit yourself,” he mutters darkly, just moments before a bucket of ice water is tipped over my head.

A loud shriek pulls from deep within my chest as the sound of the water crashing over me and splashing against the old stone rocks through the room. I throw myself out of bed, the chill in the water instantly seeping into my bones as my teeth chatter. “What,” pant, “the fuck,” shiver, “is wrong with you?”

I curl my arms in on myself, the cold far too much for me to handle. I’m a summer girl through and through. It rarely snows where I’m from, but when it does, I’m in the worst kind of hell. My heating gave in on me for three days last winter and it was the worst three days of my life. That is until three brooding psychopaths broke into my apartment and decided to ruin everything.

“Good,” Levi says, a bored expression resting on his face as he grips my wrist and starts pulling me toward the door. “You’re up. Lunch is in ten minutes. You need to be dressed and ready, and fuck, Shayne, if you don’t look like you’re meeting the fucking queen, I will personally see to it that you sleep out in the woods with my wolves.”

I swallow hard and attempt to pull back on my arm, determined to know what the hell is going on. “Where are you taking me? I don’t want to go to some fucked-up lunch to listen to Roman talk about how much he wants to slaughter me in my sleep or get whiplash by Marcus’ bullshit mood swings. Not to mention yours. I thought Marcus was the one who needed anger management, but turns out, you’re just as screwed up as he is.”
