“So what kind of app are you working on now?”

Geoffrey was kind of mesmerized by the slow and steady movements of the needle. He would have thought this would be too domestic for him, but there was something wickedly exciting about this big Viking-like man sewing naked.

Sven’s hand stopped moving and he chuckled. “Still with me?”

“Huh?” Geoffrey blinked at him. “Yeah, yeah, still here. What’d you ask?” He looked back down at Sven’s lap, noticing that the big guy wasn’t unaffected by his stare. “My app.” He stopped for a moment, chewing on his bottom lip. He was about to break his own rule of never discussing a project with someone before it was done. But this was Sven…and he wanted to share it with him.

“I’m working on something better than Facebook. It’ll be a social media platform that’s specific to group needs. Lovers of music can be in groups with musicians. Readers can be with authors. People will be able to tailor their sections to only see news from those people and it won’t be policed by prudes. Each group can set their own rating. There are other ones out there like this, but I’m hoping to give it my own signature flair.”

“Incredible.” Sven set the shirt aside and reached for a blue one. He began to rethread the needle with matching thread. “Sounds like something that could even interest me in joining.”

“Yeah, well, I’m not the only one working on something like this and we all want to be the next Mark Zuckerberg, so time is not my friend.”

Sven looked around the room. “You’re doing pretty well now.”

“Yeah, I am. But I’m also ambitious as hell.” He munched on popcorn and swallowed. “What about you? Are you doing what you’ve always dreamed of doing?”

“I am. It feels like I’m doing what I was meant to.”

“You’re so good. You remind me of Captain America.”

He got an eye roll in response. “Please. He’s not my least favorite superhero, but sometimes his holier-than-thou attitude is grating.”

“Agreed. So, who is your least favorite superhero?”

“Red Hulk.”

A loud laugh jumped from his throat. “I can see we’ll be having some interesting conversations. Lucky for you, Red Hulk isn’t in this Avengers movie we’ve been ignoring. We should both be drooling over Thor.”

A smile cracked that gorgeous mouth. “Loki is more my speed.”

Geoffrey groaned. “Great, now I’m thinking about being in a Loki/Sven sandwich.”

Sven set the shirt on the table next to him and didn’t grab another. He put the needle and thread away. “Geoffrey, I don’t share.”

Geoffrey shivered and paused the movie because he didn’t want to miss a word of this. “So…are we together then?”

His gaze locked on Geoffrey. “I would like to explore whatever this is longer, yes.”

“So…monogamy.”

Green eyes narrowed. “Is that a problem?”

He shook his head and set the bowl on the coffee table, then curled one leg beneath him as he faced Sven. “No. If we’re going to try, I’d prefer we didn’t have sex with anyone else. I’ve never shared well myself.”

“Good because I prefer relationships over casual sex.” Sven stared at the television.

“Sven.” Geoffrey waited until he looked back at him. “There is absolutely nothing casual about our sex.”

The heat that snapped between them made Geoffrey squirm on the couch. He felt fidgety and he stood, then sat back down and picked up the bowl to set on his lap. But Sven had other ideas because he reached out and plucked Geoffrey up, bowl and all, turning so he could stretch his legs out and set Geoffrey between them. He pulled Geoffrey’s back to his chest.

Geoffrey closed his eyes as their bare skin touched. He groaned and leaned his head back. “I think this thing we have going may be too new for cuddling on the couch through a whole movie.”

“Since we’ve barely made it through the opening, I think you’re right,” Sven murmured as he pulled the lobe of Geoffrey’s ear into his mouth and sucked.

He tried to put the popcorn bowl to the side on the coffee table and missed completely. Popcorn spilled all over the floor.

He didn’t give a shit.

Turning his head to the side, he whispered, “I’m sorry I pushed you away last night.”

Sven opened his mouth over Geoffrey’s jaw. It was still a little sensitive from the beard burn.

“I understood,” Sven whispered. “I’m not the kind of man who will get upset when you need space. Though,” he nuzzled into Geoffrey’s hair, “if we’re going to try dating and I’m here for the night, I’d prefer to sleep with you.”

“So would I.” Geoffrey caught his mouth and pressed for entry.

The sexiest fucking groan rumbled against his lips as Sven fell into the kiss with all his usual enthusiasm. The man kissed thoroughly and he made no effort to hide how very much he got off on kissing.
