As a young man, Ford had taken responsibility for everything his father placed on him, running the farm and taking care of his younger brother. Then he’d enlisted and had taken on a leadership role from the second he’d left boot camp. He fought and he bled for his country, for his team. Always looking out for the well-being of everyone else and ignoring his most basic human needs. He wasn’t a robot, he was a man, a man that never took any pleasure for himself. That ended right now.

“Yes.” Touch me, please.

Ford was surprised that Dana’s hands were shaking too, but he didn’t try to hide it. Slowly, his long fingers clasped the bottom of Ford’s shirt and instead of lifting the shirt up and off him, Dana closed his eyes and inched his hands underneath. Using his sense of touch to not only feel, but to see. He’d seen Dana do that in the field when his visibility was reduced. He’d close his eyes and listen, feel the movements in the air, then he’d fire and hit his target dead-on. Ford watched every expression imaginable flitter across Dana’s face: surprise, lust, appreciation, hope, relief… and then he saw what he’d prayed he would… happiness.

Dana’s hands explored his torso like he was the most beautiful sculpture he’d ever seen.

Dana

Dana swallowed thickly in an effort to quench his thirst. Needless to say, it wasn’t working. His mouth was salivating for one reason – he wanted to taste. He felt so fortunate to finally have his hands on his partner, he feared he’d get too greedy and scare him off if he wasn’t careful. No matter how badly he wanted to drop to his knees and bury his face in the warm fuzz that covered Ford’s strong abs and thick pecs, he would wait for his cue. And so far, Ford had been still.

“I’ve wanted to touch your body for three years, Bradford King,” Dana whispered while still smoothing his hands up and down Ford’s chest. “Is this okay?”

Ford jerked beautifully when Dana brushed his thumbs over his erect nipples. Being the greedy bastard he was, Dana did it again, getting the same reaction, but this time Ford moaned and gripped his wrists, stopping him. Dana thought he’d overstepped, but the way Ford was trying to control his breathing suggested to him that he’d been stopped for a whole other reason, which, of course, skyrocketed his lust and boosted his ego.

“I think I’d better sit down if you’re going to keep touching me,” Ford said slowly, but he didn’t let Dana’s hands go.

Dana ran his nose down Ford’s throat, inhaling the strong scent that was always there. “Yeah. Let’s sit down.”

Dana tried to walk with confidence but his dick was so hard it ached. Ford sat down on the loveseat, slouching down until his head was resting on the back. With his forearm over his eyes, he confessed, “I’m not good at this, Dana. Matter of fact, I most likely stink at it.”

“At what?” Dana asked from beside him, so close that they were touching from shoulder to thigh. “Seems like you’re doing pretty good to me.” Ford couldn’t tell what Dana was referring to, but if he uncovered his face he’d see the massive tent in Dana’s sweats.

“Let’s just say I’m a bit out of practice,” Ford admitted.

“I think I knew that already. But I’m not concerned about it. We’re not in a competition over who’s the most experienced.” Dana paused. “Have you been with a man, Ford… ever?”

“Yeah. But not all the way,” Ford grumbled and released a heavy breath. “I sound like a frat boy. I haven’t had sex with a man. Fooled around, yes.”

Dana wasn’t sure how to restore Ford’s confidence. Hell, he was way out of practice with men himself. But he figured sex was like riding a bike. With Ford, it’d be like riding in style… luxury. It would all come back to him, he was sure of it. But he had to put his partner at ease or they weren’t going to get anywhere. He’d worked with Ford for three years. The man didn’t like to be out of control.

“I haven’t been with a man in ten years. Last guy I was with, I thought he was the one and he burned me… bad. So I backed off of men for a while. Longer than I wanted to. No one had interested me until I saw you. You ticked off every one of my boxes, man. But I knew I didn’t have a chance in hell with you. So I tried to cover up my want for you by being with someone else, anyone else. It hurt that I had to see you every day and wish.”

Ford had dropped his hand and was listening intently to Dana’s confession. He needed Ford to know that he had even less control over the situation than Ford did.
