Brian balled up his huge fists and pressed them into his eye sockets. Sway had to be his, he had to be. Brian didn’t want to be alone anymore. He understood why people came to those clubs, but there was no denying they’d shared something deeper than a fuck. They’d shared a connection. Enough of a connection that it deserved exploring.

Only, Sway hadn’t looked all that impressed when he looked at him just now. There was plenty of light in Dana’s foyer. Brian had on a plain, white collared shirt and black jeans. Nothing fancy. Sway was gorgeous. No other word to describe him. Brian wanted those delicious lips back on him. He knew they were juicy to suck on, but he had no idea they were so pink. Brian wavered on his feet. Oh god. Sway’s compact little body. Brian remembered, captivated by the memory of how the smaller man had climbed him and enjoyed him.

“Brian. Brian, I’m getting worried. Look at me.”

Brian dropped his fists. His brother had stopped him mid-stride and was standing inches in front of him, squeezing his shoulders. He’d been so lost. Trying to desperately come up with a plan to communicate with Sway. Brian’s eyes flew open in panic, his mouth working, but no sound coming out. He tried to shove past his brother. He hadn’t missed Sway, had he? He hadn’t left while Brian had zoned out?

“Brian,” Ford snapped, restraining him. “What’s wrong?”

Brian finally got his hands and brain back on one wavelength so he could speak to his brother and explain why he was acting like a nut. Brian stepped back and took a few deeps breaths. “That guy… Dana’s friend. I’m pretty sure I know him, Ford. I have to talk to—”

A throat clearing made Brian jerk his hands down and turn towards the entrance to the den. Dana was in thin pajama pants and an old tank top. He had his arm around Sway – his eyes still glassy and unfocused – while his friend helped support his weight. Sway was giving Brian a quizzical look as he gently helped Dana settle down on one of the recliners. Sway adjusted the pillow at Dana’s back, ignoring Dana’s huffs and pleas to stop fussing over him. Sway took one of the throws and eased it over Dana’s thighs.

“Ford, you might want to start a fire. It’s gonna be pretty cold tonight,” Sway told Ford, tucking the blanket around Dana’s legs.

Ford walked over to the fireplace and began to load a few logs.

“I’m not an invalid, Squirt. It’s just a headache and a broken wrist.” Dana shook his head fondly.

“Shut up, you. I’m still mad at you,” Sway hissed at Dana. If he was going for an angry expression, he’d failed miserably. There was nothing but brotherly love all over his kind face. “Scared me and mom half to death. You were all over the news, D.”

Brian stood there, enraptured. Sway was a caring man, a nurturer. Brian’s soul cried out. After Sway put Dana’s bowl of hot soup in his lap, he turned to Brian and looked him up and down with attitude.

After a few seconds of them playing an interesting staring game, Sway put his pale hands up, his thin fingers zinging a reminder to Brian’s foggy brain of what they felt like around his cock. Brian watched in total disbelief and fascination when Sway began to sign.

“So, how do you think you know me?”

Brian wasn’t sure he believed it, until he heard Dana chuckling. Brian was frozen. Sway was indeed signing. He knew sign language. Brian’s arms hung limp at his sides. He blinked when his brother slapped him in the center of his back on his way past. Brian hoped his hands weren’t shaking when he started to answer.

“I’m Brian. Can we talk… privately?” Brian wouldn’t dare embarrass Sway and admit in front of everyone that he knew Sway from a seedy sex club. That Sway was the one that’d blown his mind and then run away.

Sway tilted his head, still watching him carefully with alluring brown eyes. Brian almost smiled, remembering how cautious Sway had been before he’d let Brian lead him to their dark nook that night.

“Okay.” Sway gestured and headed back towards Dana’s bedroom.

Ford gave Brian a look of encouragement when he walked by.

“Wasn’t trying to eavesdrop on your conversation, but I caught my name.” Sway’s hand gestures were majestic. His eyes joined in when he signed.

Brian closed the door and turned back to feast his eyes on his desire. He was so close to walking over and crowding Sway’s amazing body back against the corner and grinding weeks’ worth of frustration and loneliness out of his body. He’d almost resorted to breaking the law and hacking into street security cameras near the club to track down which direction Sway had gone that night. To maybe get a license plate if he’d driven. But that’s not what he was supposed to use his skills for. Not to spy on love interests. That was called stalking. But god did he ache so much. Craved Sway, craved his body, his understanding. Now to add to the list of amazing qualities Brian already respected about Sway, he could also sign.
