After he’d finished helping Duke, he still hadn’t wanted to come home. He probably would’ve gone to his brother’s, but he wasn’t blind to what was happening between him and Dana. It was a good thing and a long time coming. He’d never want to cock-block his brother, not when he needed some good cock in his life. As creepy as that sounded in his own head, the reality was, he wanted his big brother to finally get something that was just for him. Dana was an amazing man. If Brian was into alpha types, he may have made a play for Dana in the beginning while Ford dragged his big ass feet. But he and Dana fit better as brothers. The man was a good guy, a good friend. Even his sign language was getting better. His favorite thing about Dana was the man never pressured him about talking. Never pushed him to try harder in therapy, or hurry up and see another specialist. Or travel to the other side of the world and see if this or that expert could help him. Dana didn’t see Brian as broken or defective. Ford didn’t either, but it was obvious he wanted Brian to talk to him again.

He wouldn’t talk. Not now… maybe not ever. He was learning to accept that. It’d been beaten and tortured into his head to never speak again. That programming wasn’t something he could snap his fingers and magically turn off. He’d learned to survive as a prisoner of war. It was either keep his mouth shut and live, or talk and die a quick death after betraying his country and his brothers. In his mind he associated silence with self-preservation.

Brian’s phone buzzed beside him with a text notification. He almost ignored it, figuring it was Ford being his usual over-protective self and checking in on him. He was feeling some type of way about the cute guy blowing him off earlier, but Brian wasn’t falling into a state of depression from it. Releasing a gust of breath, Brian picked up the phone and clicked on the messages icon. It was Rod, a buddy he’d met on Tinder last year. They’d become friends after a ridiculously horrible attempt at two tops trying to hook up. They ended up calling it quits and just having a drink. Rod didn’t care that Brian didn’t talk because the man was fine with doing all the talking. Rod had tons of stories, and a big mouth to tell them all with. He currently had a lot of time on his hands since he’d quit his last job at a local barbershop. Brian didn’t mind listening to him. He considered Rod one of his best friends.

Rod: I’m not going to the club tonight. My son wants me to have breakfast at his school tomorrow. You interested in using my pass to get in? Starts at midnight. The action is smoking in there Brian.

Brian thought about it. Rod had been telling him about some secretive club that changed its location each week. It was by invite only or you had to come with someone who was already a member. It was basically a place to go when you wanted to get laid. If Grindr or Tinder were actual locations, then this underground club would be one of them. Rod told Brian the last time he went he joined in on an orgy and the time before that he’d been taken to a room and fucked by not one, but two twinks. A night of mindless sex didn’t sound half bad since he was still worked up from the action of the bust and the action with Sascha. Now he sat in his home with a severe case of blue balls and no desire whatsoever to take care of it himself.

His size, his look, even his attitude was often misread. Brian wasn’t an introvert. He didn’t loathe friendship or getting to know a man a little deeper than how far his hole went. He wouldn’t mind a date outside of the bedroom. Guys did love to be taken by him. He was a big top with a big cock and he knew how to use it, but he also had a mind. He wouldn’t shy away from the idea of some light conversation before he rocked a man’s world. Only one minor problem. Since he couldn’t voice his conversation, no one wanted to have one with him. Who wanted to listen to a computerized voice? No one did. Hell, sometimes his hookups didn’t even know he couldn’t talk. They didn’t bother to learn anything about him except how long it took for him to get his pants down and a condom on. So for now, he’d do what he usually did. He’d leave his heart at home and go out and fuck. Brian hit reply.
