Joe sighed and rubbed the trimmed hairs on his long chin. He looked like he hated to do what he was about to. “I tried to give you a chance to leave. But you have to do things the difficult way.”

“Looks pretty easy from where I’m standing.”

“Well, let’s hope you stay vertical, Roman Webb.”

“Meaning.”

“You aren’t the only one with friends you can call.”

“Duly noted, Ana. Are you done? Because this is ten minutes of my life wasted.”

“Yeah. I’m done,” Joe said casually, turning to leave.

“Wait a second,” Quick hurried to say before Joe walked down the few steps.

“What?” Joe barked.

Quick reached out and yanked the bag of donuts from Joe’s hand, his fast reflexes shocking the hell out of Dr. Joe. He held up the delicious smelling bag. “I’m taking these. That’s for disturbing my morning.”

Quick turned and went back inside, slamming the door for effect and locking it behind him. Dipshit. He looked at his watch. Good thinking, you were smart to do that. He’d recorded the entire conversation. Although Joe had pissed him off, he was intrigued to see Cayson standing there by the window, laughing his head off.

“What’s so funny?” Quick smirked.

“I can’t believe you took those donuts like that.”

They continued to laugh while they ate their confiscated donuts and drank their single-brewed cups of coffee.

Cayson

When Cayson came out the bathroom, fully groomed and prepped, he heard raised voices outside his upstairs window. Since Quick was nowhere to be seen, he knew it had to be him, but who the heck was he yelling at this early in the morning? Peeking out the sheer blue curtains covering his window, he saw Joe on his porch, red and angry about whatever they were discussing.

He was beyond angry himself. Not only would Joe never make love to him, but now he was cock-blocking him getting any action elsewhere. Why the hell was Joe fighting the end of their agreement so hard?

Cayson threw on the first clothes he found on top of the dresser drawer and hurried downstairs. Instead of opening the door wider, he stood off to the side and listened. Listened to the man he thought was a friend offer up a half a million dollars if Quick would leave him. The thought that Quick would take the money never entered his mind. He was quickly learning the kind of loyalty and honor Quick and his friends believed in. Although Cayson had been skeptical in the beginning about Quick’s intentions, he’d more than proven himself these past couple days. But now… now… he’d turned down a million dollars to be with Cayson. He was even more convinced than he’d been last night that Quick could be good for his heart. Just the person he’d been looking for to protect it.

He’d been watching with a serious but nervous eye as he witnessed Quick getting more angry. A large vein bulged out the side of his neck, and all the way to the tips of his ears, his usually tanned skin burned a dark shade of crimson. He was fuming. But when Quick snatched Joe’s donuts, Cayson thought he was going to fall over, that’s how funny it was. When Quick came back inside, he pushed a couple buttons on his watch before noticing him.

They were still laughing while they ate their breakfast, deciding to make light of the situation for now. But he knew they’d have to discuss the possibility that Joe just might be a potential threat. Cayson cleaned up their mess before he walked up to Quick and slung his arms around his neck, kissing him hard on the mouth. “That was good. I’m full on sugar.”

“I’d like to be full on something else,” Quick grumbled, his thick palm snaking down and cupping Cayson’s left ass cheek, yanking him hard against him.

Cayson was mad at Joe, livid honestly, but he refused to give Joe anymore of his energy or attention when Quick was here in front of him, deserving his full focus. “That sounds good, too.” Cayson laughed quietly, as Quick walked them backwards towards the stairs, his tongue messily lapping at any exposed skin. Cayson’s dick was already half hard, but when he felt a thick tongue sucking on the sensitive skin behind his ear; he was harder than freezer meat by the time they got to the top step.

Last night, Quick took the lead, making Cayson feel desired and cherished, but it was his turn in the driver seat. He wanted Quick to long for him, to crave him, and need him the way Cayson had yearned to be needed for so long.

Cayson stepped out of his sweats, his cock bobbing freely. Quick licked his lips when Cayson stroked his cock, squeezing a clear bead of precome out of his slit. He heard a low groan reverberate through the room, but Cayson was so turned on, he kept up his show. Still holding his cock firmly in his right hand, he took his left hand and dabbed at his essence, dragging his finger along his tongue, tasting himself. He hadn’t realized he’d closed his eyes, until he felt himself being yanked onto the bed.
