She cries out, arching her back as she shatters for me. The walls of her pussy clamp down around my cock in waves of pleasure.

"I love you," she chants. "I love you."

The feel of her pussy pulsing around my cock and her sweet cries drive me over the edge. I drive her down on me, shouting her name as she milks every last drop from me.

We shudder together, moaning and clinging to one another.

Her head falls to the crook of my neck as she pants against my skin. I cradle her head, running my fingers through her damp hair as we both struggle to catch our breath. Her heart beats rapidly against my chest, matching the wild rhythm of my own. I press a soft kiss to her forehead, savoring the warmth of her skin.

"I love you too," I murmur when I can speak, my voice hoarse from exertion.

She looks up at me with a satisfied smile, her eyes shining with happiness.

"I know," she replies, her voice barely above a whisper. She snuggles closer to me, and I wrap my arms around her, holding her tight.

"I've never been this happy," she murmurs, her fingertips tracing lazy circles on my bare chest. "I'm scared it's too good to be true."

I tighten my hold on her, burying my nose into her hair. "It's real, Sutton," I say. "As real as you and me."

I just hope her parents see it too, and that they accept this grumpy, tattooed loner into the fold because I can't give her up. She's my sun, my moon, and all my fucking stars. I won't lose her. Not for anyone.

Chapter Eleven

Sutton

My heart pounds like a kick drum in my chest, keeping time to a high-speed country beat as I pace the thick carpet in the living room. I peer through the curtain-shrouded window, looking for any hint of cameras flashing in the dark.

The paparazzi started trickling into town a few hours ago. But by the time they showed up, pictures of me and Caleb were already all over the internet. If they're lurking around outside the house, we haven't seen a whisper of them yet.

I realized something important today, though. I can spend the rest of my life hiding from them, and it won't change anything. All it'll do is make me miserable because the more I hide, the more power I give them. I can't spend the rest of my life looking over my shoulder, hoping they aren't there. That kind of life isn't sustainable.

All I can do is live my life, and trust that Caleb and I will be okay. He knows his own mind. And he chose me, despite everything. He stood by my side today, knowing that his face would be plastered all over the internet, effectively ending his quiet existence here. But he did it anyway.

If he can do that, then it's my turn to take a leap too. It doesn't matter if they follow me. It doesn't matter what lies they tell to go along with their photos. The people who matter will know the truth. That's the important thing. Everything else is just background noise. If my parents can survive it for as long as they have, so can I.

I have something worth fighting for now, and it matters a whole hell of a lot more than any desire to hide. And, quite frankly, I want the world to know how I feel about Caleb. I'm crazy about him. I'd shout it from the rooftops if I could. But since my voice isn't quite that loud, I might as well sing it from a stage and plaster it across every freaking gossip blog in existence.

I mean, if they're going to follow me, they might as well make themselves useful.

I glance sideways at Caleb, his tall silhouette lounged against the doorframe, muscles outlined by the faint light leaking into the room. His blue eyes glint in amusement as he watches me fret and worry.

"Sunshine," he drawls, "You're going to wear a hole through the carpet if you keep it up."

"Easy for you to say," I retort with a half-hearted glower. "You're not the one whose worlds are colliding. What if you and my dad hate each other?"

His strong arms envelop me from behind, pulling me against his hard body in a hug that feels more like home than any place I've known.

"We won't," he whispers into my hair with so much conviction I can't help but to believe him. "We'll love each other, just like you love us."

His confidence brings a blush to my face, but I gently shove him off anyway, grinning despite myself. "Oh really? How can you be so sure?"

He grabs me by my hips and pulls me close, nuzzling into the crook of my neck. "Because he raised you, and you're damn near perfect. As far as I'm concerned, the man can do no wrong, Sunshine."
