She shivered delightfully in his arms.

He meant what he’d said. He liked every single thing about her. He liked her so much that his cock was hard from holding her and watching her squirm. He needed to rein in his little head though. She wasn’t ready for him to suggest a physical relationship. She’d been bright red with embarrassment from having her shorts and panties pulled down even though he hadn’t lingered to look at her pussy.

Taking a deep breath and shoving his arousal to the back of his mind, he turned her around. “How about a tour?”

She swayed a bit as if she’d lost her equilibrium, which pleased him. He hoped he had something to do with that. “It’s so big.”

“You mentioned that,” he teased.

“And so modern,” she commented, glancing around his kitchen with white cabinets and stainless-steel appliances. “You must be a really, really good photographer.”

He laughed. “Other people think so, and that’s what matters.”

“You have books,” she commented, twisting her head around to look at him. “Ellie and Riley were telling me about them. Can I see them?”

“Of course. I’ll show them to you later.” He took her hand and led her deeper into the house, pausing to point out the obvious. “Dining room, living room…”

“Ten people could live here.”

Apparently she hadn’t had a very large home growing up. Her brother’s house was certainly nice and large enough, but she was correct. Evan’s home was kind of big for just him. “I’d rather it just be me and you,” he pointed out, threading their fingers together.

She giggled and looked up at him. “You keep saying that. I’m going to start fantasizing about living in this mansion.”

He stopped walking right where they were standing at the entrance to the hallway. He needed to kiss her again. Now. And he didn’t waste a moment cupping her face and closing the distance until their mouths were pressed together.

He loved the way her hands came to his forearms and her short nails dug into his muscles as he slid his tongue into her mouth and let it dance with hers.

When she whimpered and stepped closer, his heart flipped over. She was so damn precious and so very much his. He just needed her to believe it.

Evan didn’t release her lips until they were desperate for oxygen, and even then, he only pulled back an inch, holding her face and her gaze. “You don’t have to fantasize about living here, Little one. I want my home to be yours. If there’s anything you don’t like, we’ll change it. I’ve already started working on a room for you too.”

He was taking a risk mentioning that last part, but he was starting to feel anxious about wanting her in his space. If she truly did spend the night tonight, it was going to be hard to take her home tomorrow and let her out of his sight.

Her eyes went wide with shock. “A room for me? Are you serious?” She started trembling, making him feel nervous about saying anything. “Like a bedroom?”

“Sort of…”

She took a step back, which caused him to panic. He shouldn’t have mentioned it. She wasn’t ready.

He let his hands slide down her arms to hers and held her fingers, not wanting to break contact. Her cheeks were hot and her mouth was hanging open. He tried to think what to say to backpedal, but she spoke before he could.

“I thought…” Tears welled up in her eyes and she pulled her hands free of his to swipe at them before crossing her arms over her chest. “I thought you were like my boyfriend,” she murmured, her gaze tipping downward.

He flinched, confused. He bent his knees and lifted her chin with a finger. “I am your boyfriend, Little one. Your Daddy, your boyfriend, your Dom. I’d like to be even more.”

Her brow was furrowed. “Then why would I have my own bedroom in your house? Wouldn’t I sleep with you?”

Evan blew out a deep breath, relieved now that he grasped the misunderstanding. He pulled her into his arms and held her tight. “You would absolutely sleep with me, Little one. Once I’ve had you in my bed, I’ll never let you go. The room I’m working on is a space of your own to be Little. To play and color and draw and nap.”

She blinked several times while she processed his meaning and then smiled. “Oh.” Her body relaxed in his arms too.

Thank God.

“Can I see it?”

“Yes. It’s not finished yet, but you can certainly see it. Maybe you’ll have some suggestions,” he added, wanting her input on everything in his life. All of a sudden what she thought mattered a lot.

He turned them toward the hallway and took her hand again. “It will be the last thing on our tour.”

“Okay.” She was smiling now. There was a pep in her step.
