He slowly pushed his fingers in and out of me while I came back down, the twinges like electrical shocks still pulsing inside.

“Fuck.” He pulled his fingers out of me and I opened my eyes, still breathing hard as he moved up to run his glistening fingers over my lips. “Taste yourself. It’s fuckin’ heaven.”

I didn’t hesitate and opened my mouth so he could slip them inside, the sweet scent of me on them. “Mmmm.”

“Fuck, Georgie. That’s hot as hell.” He yanked his fingers out of my mouth, and then pushed back and had his jeans off in seconds. He grabbed my hands and wrenched my arms above my head so I was stretched out like a cat. “Your back?”

“Damn it, it’s fine. Just fuck me.”

Then he was kissing me again, our mouths harsh against one another, both of us tasting me on our lips. It was so erotic and hot and I wanted him to fuck me so badly.

I was quick and he wasn’t expecting it as I pushed up hard with my right hip and sent him forward, loosening his grip on my wrists. Keeping with the momentum, I rolled so I was on top of him.

“I’m fucking you tonight.” Then I took hold of his cock and held it while I slammed down on top of him. He groaned. I did it again and again until he forced me to stay down on top of him, rocking my hips.

“Georgie. Babe.” His fingers dug into my hips as I moved up and down on his cock, the slapping of our skin, the panting, our moans pushing us faster and harder.

“Enough!” Deck yelled and within a second, he had me on my back again, trapped beneath his weight. He grabbed my chin and I met his eyes. “You and I … this doesn’t end. Ever.”

“I know.” I smiled. I knew he was saying it because he was feeling what I was at the moment—disbelief that after so many years we got our real. Then my smile turned into a gasp as he shoved his cock back inside me.

“Scream for me,” he ordered as he thrust fiercely, his eyes locked on mine.

I didn’t need him to tell me as I felt my body’s release at his thrust. “Deck!” I cried out as a burst of ecstasy swam through every inch of me to settle deep between my legs. Deck pumped three more times before he joined me, groaning loudly. I felt his body quiver and shake over me and watched as his expression tightened, eyes closed, head back as if in pain.

He lazily slipped in and out of me a few more times while I stroked up and down his arms. When he opened his eyes, my breath hitched.

It was the lightness I rarely got to see. All the shit he had seen, the loss, the deaths—it was wiped away for those few seconds he was in my arms. Then he was kissing my bruised lips again, but this time it was gentle and sweet, a slow warmth bringing us back down to where we needed to be.

When he stopped kissing me, he rolled onto his back, one hand beneath his head while the other brought me with him and kept me locked against his side. We lay still and silent, while our breathing slowed and we got our emotions back in control.

I lay my cheek on his chest, my hand resting on his abdomen, drawing little circles. “I got us in some serious shit.”

He huffed and I felt his hands in my hair as he caressed me. “None of this is your fault. They handpicked Connor. You’re collateral. No matter what decision you made, it would’ve been the same outcome. All of it was to make certain Connor became theirs and to make certain it stays that way. What we need to find out is why him.”

“You think we can ever bring him back?” I knew Deck wouldn’t lie to me and I held my breath waiting for his answer.

“Even if we did, I don’t know if you’d even recognize the man anymore, Georgie. Connor was a good guy. He cared about every innocent life in this fuckin’ harsh world. He’d have given his life for a perfect stranger. Shit, he risked his life for strangers every day. Countless times he risked his life for some kid caught in the middle of a shit storm. That was him.” He hesitated and I tilted my head to look up at him. “Babe, chances are he doesn’t want out now.”

I tried to swallow, but my throat was so tight it hurt. Tears filled my eyes and it was for the loss of Connor because he had died the second they took him. My brother was dead and that was what Deck was preparing me for if we ever saw him again.
