Brody tilted his head, and that smile of his that I loved so much appeared on his face. Dimple and all. “I love the idea of building a house there for us. The property is completely cleared now, so it’s a blank slate. Do you have any idea what kind of house you want?”

“Nothing too over the top. Just a sweet little house where we can raise our family. There are so many memories in that spot, and I think having our kids grow up near the water would be great.”

“I agree. We can meet with an architect whenever you’re ready to get things going.”

“Seriously?” I asked, my cheeks straining from how wide I was smiling.

Brody wrapped his arms around me tighter before sealing his mouth over mine and kissing me so deeply my knees felt weak. When he pulled back, I sighed with happiness.

“Seriously. I’ll do whatever it takes to make you happy, Sutton Wilson.”

I raised a brow. “Anything?”

“Anything.”

I slowly moved my hand down to his jeans and unbuttoned them.

He caught my wrist with his fingers, and the wicked gleam in his eyes made them sparkle. “What are you doing?”

“I’ve suddenly had a craving hit me, and it’s a strong one.”

Laughing, he dropped my hand and let me unzip his pants. I slipped my hand into his boxers and found him already hard.

“We can be fast, Brody.”

He smoothed his hand up and under my dress. Pushing my panties to the side, he slipped his fingers inside of me and moaned. “You’re so wet already.”

I nodded. “I want you.”

He looked toward the steps before he focused back on me. “Turn around.”

I did as he said. Then I looked over my shoulder and watched him push his pants and boxers down just enough to take himself in his hand. I licked my lips as I lifted my ass toward him.

“I’m going to fuck you from behind, sweetheart. It’s going to be fast and hard. Do you want that?”

Nodding, I nearly whimpered. “I want that.”

Brody positioned his dick at my entrance and pushed in so fast, I gasped and then moaned.

“You have to be quiet,” he said, gently biting down on my shoulder.

“Move, Brody. Move!”

He started off slow but then quickly picked up his pace, nearly making me purr like a damn cat. I could feel my buildup already starting.

“Brody,” I gasped as his hand came around and cupped my breast through my dress. Then he slid it down, and the moment he found my clit, I came undone. Brody followed right after.

He laid over my back and attempted to get his breathing under control as he looked around again. “Hopefully no one down on the street can see us up here.”

I turned around and smiled at my handsome-as-hell husband. He was looking for something to clean off with. I pulled off the thin scarf that I’d wrapped around my ponytail and handed it to him.

Brody dropped to his knees to clean me before he cleaned himself. Then he stood and got his pants situated.

“Feeling better?” he asked with a wink and a smile that said he knew how good he was.

“Much better. I’m ready to face everyone again.”

Brody put his arm out, and I took it. We slowly made our way out of the window’s walk and soon found ourselves in the middle of our two blended families.

Addie and Gannon were off in a corner with their heads bent toward one another, talking quietly. From the way my sister was smiling, I was sure it was a good conversation. Palmer was helping my mother with the rolls that they’d soon put in the oven. A sign that dinner was almost ready.

Ken and Janet were deep in conversation with Braxton and his date, Jennifer, whom he had met on a charter that she and her family had booked last month. I wasn’t sure how serious it was, since my brother didn’t do serious. He claimed they were just having fun. Jennifer lived about an hour inland, so maybe it was a good arrangement for them both. Brody said it was all about the sex, but it was interesting that he’d brought her home to meet everyone.

My eyes swung back to the kitchen, where my mother was humming a song as Palmer brushed butter over the rolls before she put them in the bottom oven. And all the while, my father stared at the turkey that was roasting inside the top oven.

Smiling, I placed my hand over my stomach and thought about how our family was slowly growing. Addie hadn’t said anything, but I was pretty sure she and Gannon wanted to try and start a family soon—if they weren’t already. My mother wanted grandchildren. And maybe if she knew at least one was on the way, it would help her and my father decide to retire early. At least I hoped so. They both deserved a break.
