“I’ll take care of you. I promise you that. It took everything I had in me not to take you the other day.”

“Then why didn’t you?” he asks.

That’s a good question. “You’d gone through a shit-ton of emotions. That was the last thing you needed.”

“That’s exactly what I’d needed.”

“No…it wasn’t. Trust Daddy to know what’s good for you.” As soon as I say the words, my dick starts to lengthen even more. The more we play this little game of his, the more I like it. I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that hearing him call me Daddy doesn’t amp me up. Being with him has already made me learn a few things about myself. “Daddy will take good care of his boy.”

“Mmmm,” Derek says. “When?”

“What do you like to do?” I ask.

“I’m good with any position. My specialty is riding a guy, but I promise you, no matter what we do I’ll be the best you’ve ever had.”

“That’s not what I meant and you know it.” I chuckle.

“Well, I don’t know. You’re already making me sign us up for dance lessons. They start next week, by the way. I’m taking you to Uncle Randy. What more do you want?” Derek asks.

“To know you,” I answer simply. The line is quiet for so long I have to say, “Answer me. What do you like to do?”

“Um…I don’t know. It’ll sound stupid.”

“No, it won’t. Tell me.”

“I don’t like what you’re doing to me, Jackson.” Derek sighs. “I don’t know…I watch nature specials a lot. Oh, and old movies. Uncle Randy used to watch old movies with me. Once in a while, I’ll stay in bed all day and watch a couple. Oh my God, and animals. I love animals. If I lived somewhere else my house would look like a zoo. I’m obsessed with animal facts. I could show you up on my animal knowledge any day.”

A smile pulls at my lips and my pulse goes a little erratic. It’s like once he starts, he can’t stop. Does no one really ask Derek what else he likes besides fucking? Or does he just never give real answers? “See how easy that was? I’ll make you a deal. Every time we go out and have fun together, or do something one of us enjoys outside of sex, we’ll go home together afterward and I’ll give you what you need. I have a lot of years to make up for and a lot of exploring to do. You up for the challenge?” I tease.

“You know I am. You picked the perfect man to show you how good it can be with a guy. Might hurt future prospects for you though…no one works their ass like I do. When we’re done doing this, you’ll never be the same.”

“There isn’t a part of me that doubts it. If I wasn’t so confident in my ability, I’d feel a little intimidated.”

“Oh, I’m sure you showed all those women you were with a good time, and I know you showed me one yesterday. You’ll show all future men and women how fucking good you are.”

That makes me frown. “You still don’t believe I didn’t cheat on my wife?”

“Huh? I didn’t say that. You wouldn’t do that.”

“Then where did all these women come from?”

“The women before Steph. Or since the separation.” His voice is a little softer, more confused than it was before.

“I’ve been with Steph since I was sixteen, Derek. There was no one before her, and you’re the only person I’ve touched after her.”

Silence.

“Is that a problem?”

“I…oh my God. Why didn’t I ever think about that? It just never entered my mind! I knew I’d be your first guy but…Jesus, Jackson. You’ve only been with one person in your whole fucking life and you chose me as your first after that? I’ve had more people at one time than you’re going to have had in your whole life. Oh my God. This is crazy. We can’t do this. This is fucking nuts. You need to be with someone better than me, and I don’t mean better sexually because I’m the best there is, but…I don’t know…someone more like you. I—”

“Shut up,” I tell him. “Shut up before I make you come over here so I can show you just how much I want you.” He doesn’t feel like he’s worthy; his words tell me that. And like he said, not of being a good fuck because we both know that’s not the case but because we’re so goddamned different.

“There’s no one I want right now other than you, and I will have you, Derek, sooner rather than later.”

“Can you repeat that?” he asks.

“Which part?”

“All of it.”

I sigh, not out of frustration but because I feel this urge to wrap him up and keep him safe. Because I don’t want him to ever doubt himself or what he’s worth. “I want you, and it doesn’t matter how many people I have or haven’t fucked or how many people you have or haven’t fucked. I want to own your little ass, Derek. I also want to spend time with you. I’m tired of waiting. I need to show you just what you do to me.”
