Still, she may run from this, and if she does, there's nothing Cameron, Adam, or I will be able to do to stop her. But I'll be damned if I don't try.
Chase
The driver has taken me to Nicole's house and I make my way up to her place with a bottle of champagne. I hope she's home and that I can surprise her.
She opens the door, "Chase, I wasn't expecting you. What a nice surprise."
I walk in but I’m taken aback by the fact that she's wearing a very thin T-shirt with no bra underneath, and her tits look fucking gorgeous. That's the thing about Nicole, she's got tits to die for. Right now I have the perfect view.
I'm so aroused but I have to put it aside for a minute. I came up here to have a serious discussion with her and that's what I intend to do.
"Nicole, you look fantastic as ever." I say to her beaming face.
I'm glad she's happy to see me. Because she's been on my mind all day.
"Well, I just got back from a really long run. So I took a nice long shower and this is it, you've caught me in my downtime clothes."
If this is what she looks like lounging around then settling down with her seems even more appealing.
"Nicole, I came over here to talk to you about something," I say. "Do you want to put this on ice?"
Only then does she see the champagne. She has a look of consternation on her face and I hope I haven't worried her. Nothing I've come to say is a bad thing unless of course, she can't accept what I'm offering.
She takes the champagne, gets the ice into a bucket and waits for me to say something.
I suggest to her that we take a seat. Only now am I seeing the absolute squalor she lives in. Sure the apartment is lovely, it has a kind of Bohemian vibe. But my days of living in a studio apartment, well this has never happened. I grew up wealthy.
I can tell the call must work hard for all of this, a place within the city. But at the same time, I can tell she has an extreme shopping habit. Clothes are hanging off racks that have been in improvised everywhere.
I chuckle, "Wow, it seems like you love to go shopping,"
I gesture to all her fine belongings.
"You have nicer clothes than I do." I say checking the price tag of a dress hanging near me.
"Okay, okay." she says looking not at all embarrassed. "You found my secret habit."
I joke, "I think we must be paying you too much if you're able to afford all this."
"Yeah right," she laughs.
She knows her worth. She knows I'd like to pay her thousands upon thousands of dollars more. And she'll get it too as she rises within the company. But I also know she's really insistent upon working her own way to the top. We can be her foundation but she's going to get there all by herself.
"Well, where should we sit?" I'm looking for a space within all the garments and stuff she has in her little place.
"Very funny Chase," she says as she moves some stuff off of what is apparently a couch. "You can sit right here."
She brings the champagne over and a couple of tea cups. Fine dining at its best.
I actually love to see the way Nicole lives. Everything in here has a sense of style. Everything in here must be important to her. So taking that into account I'm interested in every single thing. The more I can find out about Nicole, the better.
She pops the champagne open and I'm sitting on the couch just staring at her tits. I'm lucky to have had this gorgeous specimen of a woman for as long as I have. But now I need to figure out how far we can take that.
She nestles in beside me and we clink mugs in a kind of cheers.
"Nicole, I came here because I just came from a very important meeting with Sebastian King."
She nods her head in the acknowledgment. She must've been the first to know about his marriage to Lily.
"I'm sorry Chase," she says. "Did you want me to be there with you? Or did I forget something that you needed for that meeting?"
She's in business mode now, afraid that she's forgotten something important.
"No baby," I say taking her hand in mine. "It's not about business. But it is about the fact that Sebastian just got married to your best friend."
"Yeah," she says looking down at our intertwined hands. "Lily is so happy. I've never seen her like this before."
Here's my moment. She's offered it up on a silver platter and I can't resist asking the question that's most been on my heart.
