Sky squeezed my nipples, then raked his fingernails along my sides and reached between us. He hummed as he jacked himself. I pushed his hair from his forehead and upped the tempo until I felt the first tingle of pleasure trickle along my spine. But it was too late.

“I’m gonna come, baby.”

“Do it. Look at me. Let me see you,” he commanded.

I tried, but a tidal wave hit me out of the fucking blue. I collapsed on top of him, wrapping myself around his body as my orgasm took me under. But I didn’t stop moving and neither did Sky. He clutched at my shoulder, then the back of my neck, pressing his forehead against mine as he stroked himself to the finish line. He let out a guttural cry as cum spurted between us. I wanted to pull him close, but I didn’t want to squish him, so I hovered instead, pressing kisses everywhere…on his cheeks, his eyes, his, nose, his mouth. And when his breathing steadied, I slowly disengaged and flopped beside him.

“I wished I’d always known how great it was to be gay,” I blurted.

Sky snickered as he turned to face me. “Pretty great, huh?”

“Yeah. I need to get rid of the condom. Can I use your bathroom?”

“Give me a second. We can shower together. So…you liked it.”

“I loved it. I want to do it again.” I kissed his nose. “And again.”

He smiled shyly. “We’ve got all night. I’ll make you breakfast in the morning. What’s your favorite breakfast food?”

I sensed that hint of vulnerability I’d noticed earlier, but I bit back my curiosity and rubbed my stubbled chin against his. “Pancakes, followed closely by waffles.”

“Pancakes it is. And bacon.”

“Sold!”

We didn’t sleep much that night. We showered, then hopped into bed and talked for hours. We stuck to safe topics like movies, music, and yes…superheroes. Somehow that led to an in-depth debate about streaming web series, which led to an impromptu viewing of a Star Wars cartoon he loved. We lay on his bed with our feet entwined and his computer propped on a pillow between us.

I stole sideways glances and found myself watching him instead of the show. I had a reputation for acting like an overgrown kid at times. I admit I could be goofy and immature, but I knew how to pull it together and be a boring adult when necessary. Sky was the opposite. He acted cool, calm, collected, and even a little cocky too. But I had a feeling the act exhausted him more than he let on. He visibly relaxed against me, chuckling at the animated hijinks like a kid. Or like an adult who’d finally found a safe place to rest for a while.

Neither of us talked much the following morning. Lack of sleep due to sex and cartoon overload took it out of a body. I think we did it three times last night and once this morning. It was like he was on a quest to introduce me to every position in less than twenty-four hours. I fucked him on his knees, over the bathroom sink, and he rode me at least twice. He was insatiable. I was too, but my dick was gonna fall off if I didn’t give it a small break.

“What time do you have to be at work?” I asked, spearing a bite of the pancakes he’d made me for breakfast.

“I don’t work today. I’m on my new schedule now. I have class at ten, though. How about you?”

“I have practice this afternoon. What do you want to do about your car? Do you want me to take you to school?”

Sky picked up his coffee and gave me a lopsided smile. “I can walk. The one good thing about this place is that campus is close.”

“Okay, but then what? You’re still gonna need your car. How long is your class?”

“An hour. Why?”

“I’ll wait. I can hang out at a coffee shop till you’re done. Then we can drive back to Long Beach, and you can get your car.”

“You sure you don’t mind?”

“I’m positive. I’ll caffeinate and people-watch.”

Sky squinted as though he was trying to gauge my sincerity. “If you get bored, you can take a walk or even hang out here.”

“I won’t get bored,” I assured him. “It’ll be fun.”

Famous last words. I had way too much energy to sit in a coffee shop for an hour. And I’d just had a life-altering evening. The kind that made me want to take out an ad and let everyone know. I’d just had sex with the guy I’d had a crush on for months. Gay sex. And I fucking loved it. And I really liked him. Now I had to figure out how two closeted jocks who had busy schedules, didn’t live in the same city, and no longer worked together could find time to see each other. I couldn’t do that sipping coffee, for fuck’s sake.
