That was when he went a little nuts.

Drew tugged a fistful of my hair and pumped his hips upward. I released him with a pop.

“Don’t stop,” he begged hoarsely.

I set two fingers on his bottom lip. “Suck.”

He complied, his nostrils flaring as his hand flew to his cock. I kissed him hard, slipping my tongue inside his mouth and ravaging him while I pressed my spit-slicked fingers under his balls. Then I slid a single digit over his puckered hole. That was it. Just a little pressure. His breath hitched when he broke the kiss.

“Give me your finger. Yeah…like that. Oh, fuck, Li, I’m gonna come.”

That was all the invitation I needed. I wrapped my lips around his cock as he fell apart, swallowing every drop. I licked him clean and sat up, kissing him so he could taste himself on my tongue.

“You like that?” I whispered gruffly.

“Fuck, yes,” he panted, tipping his head back. He met my gaze and licked his lips. “Let me help you.”

“All you have to do is touch me. I’m so close,” I choked in a sex-hazed tone.

Drew leaned over and wrapped his fingers around my shaft. Three, maybe four pumps of his fist later, I came like a geyser, shooting jizz over his fingers and the front of my North Face jacket. I sucked in a labored breath, chuckling when he made a show of licking cum from his palm. He snickered as he settled in his seat and clicked open the middle console.

“Here you go,” he said, handing over a wad of napkins.

“Thanks.” I tidied up as best I could and redressed.

Drew’s wide grin made his teeth look impossibly white in the darkened and now steamy interior of his Jeep. “Thank you. I can’t believe we did that, but…it was hot. You’re pretty damn good at…”

“Blowjobs,” I suggested with a wicked grin. “You know what else I’m good at?”

“Skiing?”

“Not quite what I was thinking, but skiing works.”

“I guess we’re skiing tomorrow.” Drew let out a faux-melodramatic sigh.

“Trust me. You’re in good hands.” I raised my brows and made a lewd gesture to make him laugh.

“I do trust you,” he replied in a small voice. “We wouldn’t be here if I didn’t and—why are you smiling? You look very smug.”

I schooled my features into something more serious. “Smug? Me?”

He made sure I saw his eye-roll before he checked the rearview mirror and put the Jeep in reverse. I recited directions to my friend’s place. Once the windows had cleared up, Drew pulled out of the parking lot and turned onto Main Street.

We made plans on the way. Idle conversation about coffee, renting equipment, and which runs to tackle first. We discussed the hazards of moguls, jumps, bunny slopes, long lift lines, and the joys of a well-earned hot cocoa with Baileys at the end of the day. Silly things we could have saved for later, though I was glad we didn’t. Discussing our date—and yes, it was a “date”—made it feel more real.

We both knew skiing wasn’t the main attraction. It was a convenient excuse to be together and something we could tell our friends or anyone who asked with no further explanation required. We hadn’t come to the mountains to be together. It just…happened. I had no expectations and honestly, it was extremely liberating to roll with that feeling and see where we landed.

“You’re going skiing?”

I glowered over my coffee mug. “Why is that so hard to believe?”

Mark smiled good-naturedly. “The usual reasons. Fear of heights and rental boots.”

“Hmph.”

My brother crossed his arms and leaned against the kitchen counter. He was a good-looking guy in his early thirties with short, dark hair and a winning smile. He was shorter than me and had a bit of a potbelly, but there was definitely a strong family resemblance. At least I hoped so. My brother was one of my favorite people.

“You’ll be fine as long as you don’t go rogue and aim for the trees…again.”

“Ha. Ha. What time are you and Em leaving?”

Mark checked his watch. “Within the hour. I know you said you had to head out tomorrow, but you have the cabin to yourself until Monday if you want. You should be able to use my rental stuff. Everything has to be returned by the end of today, though.”

“Got it.”

“Hmm. So…do you like this guy?”

“I work with him, Mark. We’re just friends.”

“Liar,” he scoffed. “You were all undone when you got home last night. Your shirt was untucked, your hair was messy. Kinda looked like you got some.”

I held his stare until he chuckled. “Mark…”

He raised his hands in surrender as he straightened from the counter. “All right, all right. I’ll shut up, if…”

“If what?” I prodded.

“If you take advantage of this amazing cabin in the woods, far from the maddening world, and just relax.” He set his hand on my shoulder. When I hesitated, he went in for the kill. “Call in to work now, so you don’t feel guilty.”
