She opened her eyes and looked up. They took those few extra steps toward her and wrapped their arms around her. She didn’t doubt that they knew what her tears were for, but they didn’t call her out on it, just held her.
“How did I get so lucky?” She said, and their arms tightened around her.
“No, we’re the ones that are lucky.” Tallin’s deep voiced rumbled through her.
“You complete us, Lilly. We’d be nothing without you,” Riley said and kissed the top of her head.
She cried harder, and even though she was sad, she was so happy.
Chapter Eighteen
Lilly sat on the couch in the living room staring at the fire. Tallin sat beside her, a beer in hand, his body close to hers. Riley sat on the floor, his back to the couch, his arm thrown over her leg.
She laid her head on Tallin’s shoulder, and just absorbed the feeling of being with both of them. They hadn’t spoken about any of this, any of the togetherness that she’d wanted to bring up.
But they had time. She knew they had all the time in the world.
Now she was just enjoying being with her guys—the fire burning brightly as the snow fell fiercely outside. The lights started to flicker, and everyone stopped what they were doing and looked around.
Soon the lights went completely off, the only illumination coming from the flames in front of them.
The wind howled outside, and she could hear the hard pieces of snow and ice slamming against the window with the storm’s acceleration. Suddenly the room became heavy, the air seeming to electrify as she looked between Riley and Tallin, both of whom were staring at her.
She swallowed thickly, watching as Tallin turned and faced her fully, and pulled her over until she was straddling his lap. Tallin looked at Riley, both of them saying something without actually speaking.
“We should talk about all of this, baby,” Tallin said.
“We should,” Riley responded.
She looked at both of them and nodded. “You know I am in love with both of you, and you know I want a relationship with you both.”
They nodded.
“As long as this is what you want, then I just want to move on with our lives … together.”
The silence was thick, and both men looked at each other.
“We want you, Lilly. We want to share you.” They both seemed to say at the same time.
What was about to happen would change everything irrevocably, and she was looking forward to it.
Chapter Nineteen
And three makes it complete
She stared into Tallin’s eyes, shyness filling her at the idea that Riley was right behind her, watching her, watching them.
Even though she remembered what Riley said about them being okay with all of this, with sharing her, she’d never been with two men before, and she’d be lying if she didn’t admit it scared her a little.
Tallin cupped her cheeks and brought her lips to his. His kiss was gentle and coaxing, probing at the entrance of her mouth with his tongue until she submitted to him.
She was tense, unsure of how to proceed, but the more he coaxed her, the more she became willing, heated, and accepting.
His palms grazed down her cheeks and caressed the side of her neck before sliding down her shoulders and gripping her waist. His movements were slow and unhurried, a little different from what she was used to with him, but she liked it nonetheless.
She had the impression he was being soft with her to get her used to the idea of Riley in the room with them.
And then she felt Riley’s hands smooth down her shoulders, and she tensed slightly, not from fear or nerves, but because she was trying to allow herself to go with this.
She might be in love with them, but she’d also never been with two men before, least of all her two best friends.
Tallin broke the kiss and breathed against her ear. “Relax, baby. We’re here to take care of you, to make you feel good. Trust us.”
He tilted her head slightly back and stared into her eyes before moving forward again and kissing her neck.
Lilly turned her head and searched Riley’s face. He shifted onto his knees and leaned forward, pressing his lips to hers. His mouth was soft, his movements tentative yet loving.
The caress of his tongue brought her arousal up another notch, made her pussy tingle and her nipples swell.
He pulled back, and she breathed in deeply, gazing into his lust-covered face before turning her attention back to Tallin.
She nodded, not actually saying this was what she wanted, but knowing they knew her affirmation nonetheless. Tallin leaned up and kissed her more passionately, and at the same time Riley skimmed his fingers down her spine.
Tallin’s tongue dueled with hers, taking possession of her while Riley slipped his hands under her shirt and cupped her breasts.
