“I…” Since it seemed like my mouth didn’t agree with that course of action, I just looked helplessly at Cohen as he kept me pinned against the door with his chest.

Just the smell of him still musky from the gym was enough to make thinking difficult, but when one hand came up to grip the back of my neck and his thigh slipped between my legs, all ability to talk floated away.

And I wasn’t so sure about my ability to walk anymore either.

There was something rough and commanding about his expression, and I thought I should respond in some way, but the closest thing I came to real words was a moan that escaped as he tightened his hand.

He nodded and gave me an almost tender smile that was completely at odds with how he was holding me. “That’s right. I think this is a much better way to get your attention, sweet boy.”

Okay.

Nicknames and he was rubbing my dick with his thigh…that had to be a good thing, right?

Please let it be a good thing.

“What did I say when you asked me to go to the gym earlier?” His question should’ve been simple to answer, but the way he growled it out and the pressure of his leg against my dick made it almost impossible.

“I…” God, had he tightened his hand? “I…”

Fuck.

Okay, I could do this.

“That…you said that you wanted to go, but only if I came over for dinner after.” Had that been it? What else counted? “Um…you teased about dessert after working out.”

The teasing texts were all a jumble in my head, and I couldn’t remember what he’d said in that conversation or what he’d teased about later. Hell, I was pretty sure some of what was flashing through my mind was stuff Bishop had texted me at lunch.

But my guess must’ve been close enough because Cohen nodded and pleasure flared in his eyes. “That’s right…but it sounds like you’re trying to talk me out of enjoying my dessert.”

I was?

Oh, fuck.

I was dessert.

How had I missed that?

As a shiver ran through me, I tried to figure out how to respond, but the words just wouldn’t come. “I…I’m sorry, Sir.”

Yes, Bishop said he liked Sir.

And Bishop said he liked me.

Why I needed a reminder of that fact I’d never know…but I didn’t think I was going to forget again.

This was definitely going to stick with me.

Cohen made a tsking sound that had me barely holding back a whimper. “You should be. I was thinking of all the ways I was going to enjoy spending the evening with my boy, but you weren’t thinking about enjoying time with me.”

Oh, did he have a point?

Maybe.

I wasn’t going to admit that, though.

“I was thinking about you this afternoon, Sir. All afternoon.” Yay, words. Fuck. I needed more. “I…I thought about this morning and I…I wanted to be with you again.”

And I’d thought about how erotic it’d been when Bishop was watching us.

“But…but I was worried?” I wasn’t sure any of this was making sense, so I kept going. “I…I didn’t want to bug you and be a nuisance?”

Oh, that wasn’t any better.

The stern look that flashed over his face had me trying to rock against him, desperate for friction, but that was bad too. “No, naughty boys don’t get to hump their Doms.”

That had a thousand fantasies, questions, and random thoughts flashing through my mind, but the one that was the brightest was that I’d disappointed my Dom.

“I’m sorry, Sir.” Swallowing, I did my best to gather my wildly out-of-control thoughts. “I should’ve told you I was worried.”

“And?” He raised one eyebrow and I thought I saw pride in his eyes as I managed to answer him.

“And I didn’t believe you when you told me what you wanted.” Sighing as he nodded, I knew I looked sorry. “I kept questioning you like you were lying instead of telling you what I was thinking.”

Doms and Daddies weren’t mind readers.

The fact that Bishop had texted me that after we’d gotten off the phone earlier should’ve made more of an impression on me.

“I’m sorry, Sir.” Relaxing into his hold, I shivered again as his thumb slowly stroked my neck.

“I know, cutie.” He kissed me gently, barely brushing his lips against mine. “But I think a boy who forgets how important he is and forgets that he needs to talk about his worries needs help remembering a few things.”

Oh.

“I…what kind of help, Sir?” There were so many wonderful and wonderfully terrible options. “I…I didn’t lie, though, and I had fun with you at the gym, Sir.”

Did that count for something?

He nodded, but it was the way his touch shifted as he started to pet my neck that said my odds of it being a wonderful punishment had shifted in my favor.

“I…I told Daddy earlier I wanted to spend more time with you this week, and I didn’t make him drag it out of me. I was good then.” Kind of?
