It was definitely for the best because Lane was the biggest worrier of them all and he’d tattle on himself before he did anything stupid that would have him losing a finger.

Eli nodded and laughed. “Yes, that’s exactly what they said.”

Then the nut huffed and pouted dramatically. “But Emerson said I couldn’t come over because I was scary and they didn’t want to get in trouble by taking world domination too far.”

What the fuck were they doing?

Would I be an obsessive Dom if I went over and checked on them?

“You probably would.” Preston’s nod and seemingly sincere response had Eli huffing again.

“I’d be a very nice, understanding overlord.” The fact that I couldn’t tell if Eli was serious or not helped me make the decision.

I was definitely going to check on Ian after I was done figuring out what Bishop wanted me to learn here.

Fuck.

I was just going to ask.

Picking up my phone, I ignored Eli’s nosy hums for information and texted my naughty pup.

I’m at BJs why am I here?

It took him a second to respond, but when he did, all I got was a laughing emoji and a picture of his legs in an oversized bathtub.

Rolling my eyes as Eli tried to lean over the table, I responded.

Eli is trying to look at my phone. Be careful what you send me. He’s nosy.

“I am not.” But he cocked his head as I shifted my phone closer to my chest. “Is that legs or boobs? Do you have a woman too? She’d have to be a Dominant. You seem like you’d attract that type.”

My troublemaking pup just sent me another laughing emoji and a picture of his dick as I ignored Eli’s ramblings about my love life.

Lovely.

Stop that. Have you been drinking too?

More silly emojis and finally some words.

No but you should probably go check on Ian at some point because Emerson texted me and asked me what my view on world domination and ladders was…and something about fruit?

Were they planning on eating their way through world domination?

Yes I think that’s a good idea. They said some similar things to Eli when he was trying to figure out which one of you wanted us to come here.

I was getting tired of laughing emojis.

I don’t mind if you tell them it was me. Ian is too drunk to give consent so just blame all the fun on me.

That was definitely true.

Are you sure?

“You’re taking too long. Who are you texting?”

Very sure.

So sure, he gave me another shot of his dick.

“Oh, that’s Bishop.”

How the fuck did he know that wasn’t Ian?

“Stop looking at my phone.” Good grief. They were definitely going to know it was Bishop’s dick shortly, but he’d done it to himself, so I wasn’t going to feel guilty. I’d even warned him. “Bishop said it’s okay to tell you that he said I should come.”

Eli’s eyes lit up. “Tell him he’s got a great dick.”

“I will not.” That sentence should never come up in conversation.

Rolling his eyes and muttering something about me being a fuddy-duddy, he picked up his phone. “Fine. I’ll do it myself.”

God.

This was why I didn’t go out with them often. It always turned into bizarre chaos and weird stories about orgasms.

As he texted, hopefully not to Bishop, I looked at Preston. “How do you get anything done?”

Barely managing not to laugh, he shrugged. “Good threats and giving him his to-do list at the right time?”

He looked around, pulling my attention to the way the Dom was now edging his sub at the bar, and grinned. “This isn’t the right time.”

I wasn’t sure there was ever a right time, but somehow Eli actually managed to get real things done. There were probably two of them and I’d just never realized there was a good twin and an evil one. It was the only logical explanation.

“Bishop said thank you.” Eli looked up from the screen and batted his eyelashes at me. “But he said he can’t send another dick pic unless you tell him it’s okay.”

No.

Ignoring that non-question until Bishop texted me, I kept my focus on Preston. “Is that the activity I’m supposed to be noticing?”

Knowing this was a place I could make out with Ian and Bishop or even not-so-subtly edge them was good, but I had a feeling I was missing something.

He scrunched up his face as his head shifted from side to side. “Not exactly. Give it a minute but keep watching. He’d like that.”

I was assuming he was the sub, but they both seemed to be having fun, so I wasn’t sure I was right. “Fine.”

“You know.” Eli gave me a beaming smile that said he was up to something. “I think Bishop would be fun to put on the site.”

Huh?

I knew I couldn’t ignore this one, so I raised one eyebrow and took another sip of my beer. “Bishop’s job opportunities are not mine to handle, but I know he’s got a lot of possibilities.”
