There is no way I will be able to walk out of the casino now without every single person knowing Alex Obolensky has fucked me in his office.

My hand thrusts the vibrator faster and faster into me, but I cannot match the speed of his cock inside me.

My body bows and locks and I come harder than I have ever come, on my own or with any man. For a long time, I lie staring at the ceiling, the vibrator still pulsating inside me. Shocked by the intensity of my orgasm.

Sleep becomes impossible.

I spend the rest of the night lying awake, Alex’s proposal going around and around inside my head. I promised him I would think about it, and I meant it, but I didn’t expect it to take up this much head space. I honestly thought that once I was alone, without his smoldering eyes on me, making the decision would be easy. I didn’t expect those eyes to follow me home. Each time I tried to think rationally about the offer, all I could see were those beautifully stormy eyes boring into my soul.

Dawn creeps into the sky and I’m not even a little bit closer to making a decision.

Several times I decided I’m definitely not going to do it, but then a little voice speaks up in my head asking me if I’m actually mad? Half a casino for a few weeks of what is in essence an acting job!

Then I decide I definitely am going to do it because owning my own casino is my biggest dream, until another maddening little voice speaks up and asks me if that’s a good idea. I have never reacted to any man the way I do with him. What if I fall in love with him? He has danger stamped all over him. What’s the point of money if you’re going to get your heart cut to ribbons in a metal shredder?

Basically, I waste eleven hours of my life trying to make a decision that should have been the simplest one I’ve made in a long time … and I still haven’t made a decision. But I told Alex I would let him know the next day and I plan to keep my word on that.

I considered just tossing a coin and going with whatever it tells me to do, but realistically, I can’t make a potentially life changing decision on something so random. Finally, I decide to consult my two best friends who live in the city, Rosa and Star, to see what they think. Maybe they can look at the whole thing a little more objectively than I can and just tell me what the hell I’m supposed to do about it.

I text them and ask them to meet me for brunch and to bring along their thinking caps because I’m going to need them. Their replies are instantaneous and affirmative. Rosa because she is pregnant and her husband won’t let her even boil an egg so she has all the time in the world, and Star because she married a billionaire and has dedicated herself to charity work and being a mother.

I step into the café where we always have our brunches and look around. The decor is light and airy and the smell of cooking food makes my stomach growl. I spot Rosa and Star at our usual table and make my way across to them.

Cindy

“You’re late,” Rosa accuses as she stands up to hug me. Her stomach gets in the way and we laugh. She kisses my cheek warmly.

“I know, I’m sorry. I lost track of time.”

“What’s with the dark circles under your eyes?” Star asks. And well she might. Even make-up wouldn’t cover the blue shadows under my eyes.

“Couldn’t sleep last night,” I say moving to kiss her proffered cheeks. Star smells of expensive perfume and baby powder.

“Sit down and tell us all about it,” Star invites. “We’ve already ordered you your usual by the way.”

“Thanks,” I slide into the seat.

Both girls lean forward eagerly.

“So here’s the deal. I know it’s going to sound crazy, but just hear me out. The Macau changed hands. Been bought out by a Russian.”

“Wow! When?” Star interjects.

“Well, very recently. It was all so hush, hush, I didn’t even know about it until last night when I met the owner in the most unusual way.”

“Oh, my goodness. I didn’t know it was going to be this good,” Rosa says gleefully. She stops just short of rubbing her hands together.

“The new owner has offered me a deal. A business arrangement. I fly to Russia with him and spend a couple of weeks with him and his great aunt. Apparently, she desperately wants to see him married off … so I have to pretend to be his fiancée.”

Star shakes her head. “What the …”
