He grits his teeth as if in pain. “I can’t go any further without hurting you, Fallyn. And I fucking hate that it needs to happen. But I promise this will be the last time.”

My hand drifts upward to cup his shadowed jaw. For just a moment, he squeezes his eyes tightly shut before pressing into my palm.

“Just do it. I’ll be fine.” His concern is sweet. How many guys would hesitate when they’re this turned on? Only Wolf. “You don’t have to worry about me.”

His ridiculously long eyelashes flutter open.

“You’re mine to take care of and that responsibility weighs on me. I hate that this will cause you even a moment of agony.”

“It’s okay. I’ll be fine because I’m here with you.”

Determination fills his eyes as they stay locked on mine. He withdraws before sliding back inside my body with more force. The moment he breaks through the fragile barrier, a scream tears from my lips, and his mouth crashes over mine, swallowing down every single cry. Now that he’s buried to the hilt, he holds himself perfectly still, allowing my inner muscles the time it takes to adjust.

He pulls back just enough to search my eyes as a silent tear treks down my cheek. He kisses the wetness away before doing the same to the other side.

“I’m so sorry, angel.”

“It’s all right.” My voice wobbles. “It wasn’t so bad.”

With his hips pressed against mine, it feels as if I’m pinned to the mattress by his thick cock. I have no idea why that thought turns me on so much. As my body stretches around his girth, the pain of his intrusion recedes and arousal once again sparks to life. I can’t help but squirm against him.

“Are you ready for me to continue? Or should I stop?” The muscles of his throat constrict with the question. His jaw is still clenched as if it’ll shatter into a million jagged pieces. “Because I will if that’s what you want.”

“Please don’t stop.”

He releases a steady stream of air from between his lips as he squeezes his eyes closed for a second or two. “You’re so warm and wet. Tight. It’s almost too much to take. It’s too damn good.” His teeth scrape across his lower lip. “There’s no way I’ll last long.”

Just as he pulls all the way out, a sigh of relief escapes from me before he surges forward again.

A tortured groan escapes from him. “How am I going to live outside your body now that I know how damn good it feels to be buried inside it?”

Even though I can hear how tightly strung his voice is and feel the tension quivering through every hard muscle, Wolf takes it slow, making sure every movement is gentle. By the sixth stroke, there’s no denying the pleasure that’s unfurling inside me.

It doesn’t take long for us to find a rhythm. With a whimper, I arch. It’s as if I’m chasing the same pleasure as when his face was buried between my thighs.

“Do you feel it, baby?” When I nod, he says, “I want us to come together.”

“I want that, too.”

His lips lift into a tortured smile as he rocks against me. When my muscles fill with tension, I know I’m close to careening over the edge and into oblivion.

Just as my inner muscles spasm, he groans, and the warmth of his release paints my womb. He throws his head back until I can glimpse the thickly corded muscles of his throat. It’s only when his body turns slack that he huffs out a satisfied breath. The warmth of it stirs my hair and feathers across the delicate skin near my ear and neck.

“I love you, Fallyn.”

He lifts his head to search my eyes. His expression turns serious as if he wants me to know that it’s not the orgasm talking but that he truly means it.

“I love you, too.”

He rests his forehead against mine and stares into my eyes. “I’m never letting you go.”

“I really hope you don’t.”

After finding each other for a second time, I don’t think I could live through the loss of him again.

Chapter 32

Wolf

By the time we emerge from the bedroom, it’s after ten o’clock. Her smaller hand is safely ensconced in mine. Exactly where it belongs. The last thing I want to do is take her home. As soon as we step foot into the living room, my roommate and his girlfriend stare at us. Viola’s eyes widen as a knowing expression lifts the corners of Madden’s lips.

“Well, well, well. Isn’t this an interesting turn of events,” the fucker sing songs.

With a glare, I pull Fallyn a little closer. “Get used to it.”

He snorts and lifts his hands as if in surrender. “Never said that it wasn’t a good one, just interesting.”

Viola pops to her feet. Her comically wide gaze flickers to me before homing in on her cousin. “I was just about to head out.” She stares at her as if trying to execute some sort of Jedi mind trick before annunciating carefully, “Do you need a ride home?”
