“Okay, we’ll be there in a minute. Merry Christmas, sis!”

They talk as if this is just a normal occasion and I’m not naked under this sheet. “Merry Christmas, Daisy.”

I roll my eyes at her. “Merry Christmas, Lucy!”

She waves, smiles again, and leaves, shutting the door behind her. As soon as she’s gone, I pull the pillow over my face and let out a scream. When I’m done, I look over at Cash, expecting some kind of reaction, but instead, there’s a smile I’m not ready for. I sit up. “Cash, why are you smiling like that?”

He reaches for me and strokes his finger around my erect nipple. “Because you’re naked and in my bed. That’s reason enough.”

I grab on to his hand to stop his ministrations. “Cash, listen to me. Your whole family is going to know what we’ve done. Lucy is going to tell Hunter and Hattie. Oh my God, she’ll probably tell half the town by this afternoon.”

The smile drops from his face, and he nods. “You’re completely right.” He moves toward me, pressing his hard body against my soft one. “I guess we need to do something about that.”

My heart drops, thinking I should have thought this through before I said anything. He pushes me to my back and pulls the sheet fully down so his naked body is fitted against mine. “Marry me, Daisy.”

I gasp. “Marry you?”

He kisses me until I’m breathless, and then he lets me go. “Yeah. I mean, my little sister just caught us in bed together. We need to be a good example. Marry me.”

I slap him on the chest. “I’m not marrying you just because you want to be a good example for your sister.”

He leans across me, opens the drawer in the nightstand, grabs something out of it, and then leans up to sit next to me. “Okay, how about you marry me because I love you? Maybe you can marry me because I don’t want to spend one night without you in my bed. I want to wake up next to you for the rest of our lives. If you need time, I’ll give it to you. But you’re going to take all the time you need here on the Wyatt Ranch with me.”

He opens the box, and I stare at the huge diamond ring. I almost reach for it and stop. “Cash, I’ll stay here without the ring. I don’t know what that says about me, but you don’t have to marry me. I love you without the ring.”

He takes the ring out of the box and shoves it onto my finger. He takes a second to look at it and then finally lifts his eyes to me. “I might as well put it all out there, Daisy. We didn’t use any protection last night.” I gasp, and he continues. How could I have forgotten about that?

“And… I know how much you love kids and you always said you wanted to have four. I plan to get you pregnant as soon as possible. I love you, Daisy. Will you please be my wife?”

Everything is happening so fast. Just yesterday, I never would have imagined any of this was possible. I lift my hand up and look at the ring on my finger. “You did tell me that you wanted to make all my dreams come true.”

He kisses me. “And?”

“Well, this is definitely a dream of mine. I never thought it would be possible, but if you’re saying you want to marry me, then yes, of course I’ll marry you. I want to be your wife, Cash. More than anything.”

The happiness on his face tells me I’m making the right decision. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him look as happy as he does right now.

He positions himself over top of me, wedging his body between my legs. His hard manhood is already pressing to my entrance, and I want to take him, but I know his family is waiting on us. “Your family…”

“They’re our family, and they can wait. I need inside you. The love of my life just agreed to be my wife, and this is the only way I want to celebrate.”

He slams into me, sliding me up the bed. Over and over, he takes me, but it’s not enough. I’m happy to think that it will never be enough with Cash.

“Fuck, I love you,” he says as he buries his face in my neck.

I circle my arms around him. “I love you too.”
