“You’re so fucking beautiful,” he said. The words just slipped out of his mouth, as inch by inch he filled her up.

This time, there was no pain in her eyes as she looked back at him. If anything, he was pretty sure there was wonder.

Once he was seated to the hilt within her, and she’d taken every inch of him, he stared into her eyes and waited.

He wanted her to get accustomed to the feel of him, and he waited seconds, if not minutes. It felt like an eternity to him. All he wanted to do was fuck her hard and fast, but there would be time for that later.

This time, he stayed, waited for her to wriggle, and the moment she began to move on his length, he knew she was ready to be taken.

Holding her hands in place, he pulled back until only the tip of his cock remained inside her, and then he slammed back inside. Long, full strokes, filling her, feeling the tightness of her pussy wrapped around his length.

He gritted his teeth, holding back his own release, which was fucking insane. He was a grown-ass wolf, and he’d seen so much in his years already. Done everything there was to be done, and yet it was a young woman who was fucking testing him. He couldn’t seem to help himself, and it was driving him to distraction.

“What the ever-loving fuck are you doing to me?” he asked.

She didn’t respond, and he didn’t expect her to.

This was a one-time deal. No, it’s not. He was never going to be with this woman again. That’s a lie.

Eloise Richards had gotten under his skin, and he knew, deep in his heart, he was well and truly fucked.

Chapter Five

One Week Later

“You’re sure you don’t have a problem?” Rose asked.

Eloise looked over toward the pack woman and shook her head. “Why would I have a problem?”

“I’ve just asked you to produce a Thanksgiving dinner.”

“And you asked in advance. Trust me. It’s going to be easy. You don’t have to worry about anything.” She had helped her mother cook Thanksgiving for many years, and it would be kind of fun to do one on a big scale. Rose didn’t seem to understand that she loved cooking these large dinners. It was strange, but she found a lot of pleasure in marinating the meat, to preparing the large lasagnas or pasta bakes, or even casseroles.

Taking care of the pack was a lot of fun, not that she’d admit it and she’d gladly do it without even being paid.

She was aware of Beau standing in the kitchen doorway.

“I better get back to work,” Rose said.

Eloise smiled at the other woman and got back to stocking the fridge. It had been a week since Beau had shown her what it was supposed to be like between a man and a woman … or a wolf and a woman, and she’d enjoyed every second of it.

They hadn’t promised each other anything. She’d not gone back to his ranch wanting seconds or thirds. Instead, she got on with her week and hadn’t seen him until this very moment.

“Hey, Beau,” she said.

“I expected you to call,” he said.

This did make her chuckle. “In case you weren’t aware, I don’t know what the morning or week after protocol is.” She finished putting away the cans of fruit she’d purchased for them.

The labels were already on the food. She had done that yesterday, as well as writing down all the prep notes for the pack.

“You’re looking good.”

“So are you.” Last Monday had been unexpected. After the disaster of the full moon, Eloise hadn’t wanted to repeat it, but Beau had certainly blown her expectations out of the water. The sex had been incredible, and feeling him inside her, even to the end, when she’d felt every single pulse of his own orgasm, had been spectacular.

She didn’t know what he expected from her, but she had promised herself not to be like other women, hoping for another shot, or dating, or anything. The unknown was much better than knowing.

If she wanted to get completely technical about it, she knew they were not going to have a relationship. What they currently had was just a bit of fun. That was all. Nothing else would come of it.

There was nothing wrong with just having some fun.

Last Monday, they had amazing sex, and before his pack even came back for lunch, she’d been gone without a trace.

Eloise had stopped to look at Beau, and now, she couldn’t help but blush as she got back to work putting the food away.

“You know, it makes my dick hard watching you blush like that.”

She nibbled her lip. “I can’t control if I blush or not.”

“No, you can’t—that I agree with—and I don’t have a problem with it either. What it does, though, is make me think about why you are blushing.”
