“Are you two lovebirds going to sit down so we can carve this turkey?” Wendy asked.
Eloise pressed a kiss to the inside of his palm.
Beau pulled out a chair for her to sit, and then moved down to his place. They were too far apart, but seeing as this was their pack, their family, they had to sit at each end of the table.
Clasping their hands together, they said a prayer, and then it was time to eat. Beau always said an extra thank-you as he carved the turkey. For his woman, his children, his pack, and for the health of those he loved.
He knew he had fucked up big time and if it hadn’t been for Eloise forgiving him, he wouldn’t have the family and love he did now.
Eloise was his whole world. A human she may be, but she was his mate, and he knew the gift he’d been given.
