I crawl up the bed and thrust into her more roughly than I ever have before.

“Yes!” she cries out. “Fuck me, Ezo. Jesus Christ, I want you to fuck me so hard.”

Have to fuck her.

Harder, she wants it harder. I feel it. She’s crying out for it.

Her desire electrifies my fucking balls. She squeezes and clenches around me. Oh, oh, oh—

I pull out and thrust back in, my hips slapping against hers in an animal rhythm. I’m fucking her with my top cock and the bottom one slides along her ass, the tip jamming forcefully into the bed with every thrust but the pain only fuels my need.

I shift her legs so that her ankles are over my shoulders and plunge in even deeper.

We both groan and then her fingers claw into my back. “Yes,” I demand, “Mark me as yours.”

She digs in even harder and my cock grows inside her to impossible lengths.

“Ezosish,” she cries, her voice high-pitched. “I’m— I’m—”

But I can feel it. We’re racing toward that insane mountain peak together.

I punch into her harder still and her pussy contracts around me. My spine lights and my stomach tightens.

Ana pulls me down and drowns her scream of pleasure with my mouth.

I roar, my spine splitting, cum spurting so hard inside her it’s more a flood than a stream. Her spasm rocks us at the same time, so hard and so deep from the foundations within her, I collapse to my elbows, clutching her to me else we get lost amidst the storm.

“I’m here,” I whisper over and over. “I’m with you.” I need her to hear my voice. I must caress and surround her in every way possible.

Her arms around my neck clutch me back with as much desperation.

I’ve known her such a short time but need her so much already.

“Ezosish, I—” she breaks off.

“What? What is it, my mate?”

She doesn’t answer, but just nuzzles into my neck and holds me tighter still. “I’m afraid,” she finally whispers.

She is? “Of what?” I try to pull back so that I can see her face but she doesn’t let me. She keeps her face buried in my neck.

“What if I don’t get pregnant?”

I frown, confused. “Why wouldn’t you?”

“I don’t know. But if there’s something wrong with me? What if I’m not good enough?”

I don’t see how the two thoughts are connected but I hold her closer still. “It doesn’t matter if we cannot create a kit.” As I say it, I know it to be true in my heart. I know what my mission here is—to provide more hybrid children to continue the Draci race—but I don’t care. “You are my mate. That is all that matters.”

Ana is my family now.

And no one will take her from me.

Chapter Twelve

Ana

No scales appear on my body that night. Or the next day. Or the next.

I’m afraid they never will. But I refuse to be a downer when I’m experiencing the happiest days of my entire life.

Ezo is…

I sigh dreamily, smiling like an idiot while I watch him run his hands over every piece of clothing in the Target’s men section. Every so often he surreptitiously leans over and licks a shirt to ‘scent’ it.

I decided after three days almost nonstop in bed it was time to brave the outside world again. We needed food and I figured while we were added we could get Ezo some better clothes. He only had those ill-fitting sweatpants and t-shirts.

Don’t get me wrong. Not even sweatpants could hide the magnificence of his fucking amazing body.

But watching him try on a pair of Levis with his ass that just won’t quit? Hot damn. His is an ass that was meant for bluejeans. I’m tempted to drag him right back home, even though I promised him we’d go to a dessert shop so he could taste different kinds of chocolates besides the Ghiardelli’s sauce we’ve all but used up at home.

My cheeks go hot even at the memories.

“Should I try this on?” Ezo holds up a polkadot sweater.

I shake my head no adamantly.

“But the scent is so pleasing,” he says, eyes pleading. He can’t quite grasp the idea that fashion is more about looks than scent.

I sidle up to his side. “Babe. Do you want to wear something that has me wanting to rip it off you?” His eyes darken at my words. “Or something that smells good for just the first week after you buy it? Because long-lasting scent is going to be more about the detergent we use. And I promise to let you pick out any detergent you want. Cross my heart.” I make the motion over my chest.

He stares down at me with an intensity that heats my blood. “I like this idea of you ripping these human coverings off of me very much. Why don’t you come with me into this closet so we can practice?” He gestures towards the changing rooms and I stifle a giggle.
