“Not since you told me.” He means about the photographs and other evidence. “I did some digging of my own, and let’s say I am not liking what I’ve been finding.” He cracks his neck.

“He took advantage of our loyalty,” Zuko says and then steps up to Kenzo. “Sort it,” he tells him before he strides off.

The cleaners arrive and nod to us as we pass them and get into the car. Kenzo’s phone starts buzzing a little way down the road. He shows me the screen. I shrug, and he places it on speaker.

“Kenzo…” I grind my teeth. “I think you and I need to have a talk. Have you been looking into me?” Kenzo’s eyes lift to mine. Not my problem—it’s all fucking his. I did my job and found out stuff they had no idea about. They told me to leave it, so now it’s their fucking problem. “You know I get notified when someone searches my name, and I traced it back to you.”

“Impossible, nothing can be traced to me,” Kenzo says and then hangs up. “He’s bluffing. Even his best men wouldn’t be able to trace me, and I know that for a fact.” I believe him. He’s basically a genius when it comes to anything computers. Not really sure where that came from, but I’m glad he has the skills we lack in that department. “Drop me at the club.”

“Fucking hell,” Zuko mutters, turning the car around.

When we arrive at the club, I get out with Kenzo. He looks surprised at first but says nothing when we walk in. Zuko leaves to get back to Alaska.

The doors open to reveal Avani standing there.

Grayson, the owner, is one of the only men we can stand, or trust for that matter. He used to do jobs for us that we didn’t have the time for. They call him the bogeyman, but lately, he’s been wifed up with Avani.

“Boys, what a pleasure. Since you’re here, would you assist Grayson? He’s having issues with a bachelor party that doesn’t know when to quit.”

I follow Kenzo inside. He frequents the club a lot, so he knows where to go. Straight out the back, past the colored rooms. Kenzo loves the red room, but it’s the blue room—the water room—where we find Grayson standing on the stairs that lead to the jacuzzi. He turns around when he spots us, not saying a word before he looks back to the men.

“Get the fuck up and get out. Last warning,” he tells the men.

Three men sit in the jacuzzi, all with glasses of champagne in their hands, which is not allowed, and a woman on each of their laps. And you can tell the women don’t want to be there, but they’re being held in place by the three dumbasses.

Most people know better than to come into this club and fuck with Grayson. For a start, Grayson once killed a guy for having champagne in the blue room. He has a reputation for taking no shit in here. It’s also what makes the club so popular. But these men clearly have had too much to drink and couldn’t give two shits regarding who is standing above them, telling them to get the fuck out.

One even starts to laugh, and I watch as his hand moves up and grips the woman’s tit a little too hard.

A scream comes from her—she clearly never signed up for this—and I can see the terror in her face.

Before anyone even notices, Kenzo starts moving, and no one can stop him as he takes his small pocketknife and stabs the man in the shoulder.

“Get out. Now,” Grayson growls again at the men as Kenzo pulls the knife out and steps back like he did nothing at all. The other men get angry and push the women off them. They stand completely naked, ready to fight, and all Grayson does is calmly roll up his sleeves. “If you go down this path, remember you chose it.”

The women jump out of the tub and run out of the room, leaving just us men. I smirk, knowing I don’t have to do anything. Grayson could kill them all by himself. But it’s Kenzo who is thirsty, his head dropping to the side as he watches them.

“We’ll leave,” the one cradling his injured shoulder says as he looks at Kenzo, terror in his eyes. “We’ll leave. We only wanted to have some fun.”

“Now would be a good time to go,” Grayson says, stepping out of the way so they can walk down the stairs. They hurry past us, grab their clothes, and are out the door.

“I’ll follow to make sure they leave,” Kenzo says, trailing behind them.

Grayson turns to face me. “Met your new woman the other day. Avanti said she’s nice.” He leans down and presses a button, draining the tub. “Is she another Lilly?”
