He could have come in, killed a bunch of people, made it look like Antonio had turned on them all. He could have brought one of his few surviving businesses crumbling, but instead, he was going to make sure the men spread the word.

Milah Russo was in De Luca’s arms. She was at De Luca’s beck and call.

De Luca was the fucking king, and soon, Russo would fall. Just like he had planned.

Piece by piece, his plan had fallen into place, and by the end of tonight, he was going to have his seed deep inside Milah’s cunt. There was no getting away from it. He wanted Milah pregnant, and soon.

“I think it is time for you to leave.”

Damon threw his blade, and it was embedded in Antonio’s shoulder. The man fell against the wall, a scream leaving him.

No men came running to him. There was no one.

Russo was so fucking broken. The stubborn bastard refused to fucking see it, but Damon was going to make sure he had no choice.

Shoving his fist into the man’s stomach as he approached, he grabbed the hilt of the knife out of his shoulder, relishing every scream.

“You’re going to wish you had died that day,” Damon said.

“You’re going down, De Luca,” Russo said. “The arrogant never succeed.”

“I’m not arrogant, but let’s see how you can keep on fighting me.” He sniffed the air. “Because I believe I just saw a rat. A big fat city rat, scurrying across Milah’s.”

Antonio sneered.

“I wonder how many people will come running to Milah’s with that piece of information.” All it would take was one call. “The next time I see you, Russo, you will die.” He slapped the man’s face, almost affectionately.

Then he stepped back and found two of his own men still waiting for him outside of Russo’s office.

“I want you to torch the bathrooms,” Damon said, pulling out his cell phone. He dialed Genius’s number.

The man answered less than two seconds later. “What can I do for you?”

“Do you not have anything better to do?”

“Oh, you mean apart from saving your excellent ass? You know me, I’m married to my computer. It won’t leave me. It will occasionally give me the cold shoulder for an upgrade, but let’s face it, she has never cheated or lied to me. Can’t say that about a woman.”

“Have you ever had a woman?”

“Ha, ha, ha, very funny. I might write that one down. Keep looking over it because it is so funny. What do you want?”

“A sudden sighting of a big fat rat at Milah’s,” Damon said.

“Reported, sent, and guess what, that piece-of-shit nightclub is going to go down.” Genius let out a maniacal laughter. “Oh, wait, what is this?”

Damon made his way outside toward the car.

James waited outside, but Damon paused. “What?”

“According to this, in the past few weeks, there have been some mysterious overdoses occurring outside of Milah’s nightclub. They don’t know the source, but let me do a little digging.”

Damon waited and climbed into the car, giving James the signal to take them back to the hotel.

Milah stared at Damon but didn’t say a word.

“Well, this is a heroin overdose. Looks like a pretty nasty batch.”

“Any touch mine?”

“Nope. This is in Russo’s territory only.”

“Keep an eye on it,” Damon said.

He closed his cell phone and looked toward Milah.

Damon had closed down Antonio’s drug connections. He’d arranged deals himself, so most of the product was being run through De Luca hands. Antonio’s situation was desperate. Would he be stupid enough to try to sell cheap drugs that ran the risk of killing his own clients?

“What is it?” Milah asked.

“It’s nothing.” He put his hand on Milah’s knee.

The drugs were a problem for another time. It wouldn’t take much to find the fucker who was dealing with Russo.

What he didn’t want was for a bad batch to get mixed up in De Luca’s brands. Shit that killed was bad for business. Was that what Russo hoped for? To fuck with his business even as he struggling to hold himself together?

He wouldn’t put it past Russo to do that. Or was this just desperation? Genius would have the answers for him soon enough. Genius had already told him he might have some news, and he wanted it and hoped it was what he was looking for.

The drive to the hotel didn’t take too long. The woman at the reception desk gave him a warm welcome, which he ignored.

Going straight to the elevator, he reached out to put a hand on Milah’s hip, to pull her close. She was tight within his embrace, but he didn’t let her go.

As he stared at their reflections, he noticed how her tits pressed against the confines of the dress. They looked ready to spill out. His dick began to harden as he thought about having her completely naked and at his mercy again.
