"If you are going to twist my arm." I pull down my shorts and follow her into the bathroom. It takes us forty-five minutes in the shower, but that's only because after I fucked her tits, she sat down on the bench and played with herself, which then led to me getting on my knees.

"I'm getting out first." She kisses my chest. “And you have to wait five minutes because if I bend over, you’re going to think I want you to have sex with me.” I roll my eyes because one, she’s not wrong, and two, I think I can control myself. “And I love you, but I really, really have to nap."

"Say it again." I pull her to me.

"Say what again?" She puts her head back and looks at me.

"Say you love me again." I bend to kiss her lips softly.

"I love you," she says, and my heart skips a fucking beat. This woman who drives me mad and pushes all my buttons owns every single piece of me. She gets on her tippy-toes and kisses the corner of my lips softly. “I love you." She kisses the other side of my lips. “I love you." Then she rubs her nose with mine. “I love you."

"I love you more," I tell her as I open the shower door for her, and she steps out, grabbing one of the white towels hanging. I watch her move around the bathroom, and I step out, grabbing my own white towel. She puts on one of my white T-shirts and walks out of the bathroom, and when I look over at the counter, I see her stuff mixed with mine. Her hairbrush is on the counter. Her face stuff is right next to my aftershave. It's my stuff with her stuff, and it might not seem like a big deal to anyone, but to me, it's everything.

I walk out and see that the bag on the bench in front of the bed is now tucked away in the corner under the chair. “There was a drawer that was empty," she says, coming out of the walk-in closet. “I put my things in there." She walks over to the bed and slides under the covers. “I hope it's okay."

I laugh, not saying anything as I walk into the closet to grab a pair of boxers, and there it is, her stuff hanging next to mine. "It's more than okay," I mumble and walk back out without my boxers on. It takes us an extra thirty minutes before we really take a nap.

Chapter 28

Presley

The sound of the clicking of my heels fills the parking lot as I make my way up the steps toward the front door. The minute I pull it open, I feel the cold air fly out. “It's hotter than balls out there," I say, taking off my sunglasses.

"Well, considering someone has been balls deep inside you for the last two days." Clarabella snickers from behind the reception desk. “You should know."

I roll my eyes and try not to laugh at her stupid joke. “You trying to tell me no one was balls deep inside you?"

"We don't have sex every night." She rolls her eyes, and I know she's lying.

"Well, well, well." Shelby comes out of the kitchen with a coffee cup in her hand. “Look what the cat dragged in." I laugh at her because for the past two days, we've been hunkered down in Bennett’s house, neither of us wanting to step out of our cocoon. But today, he had to run into the office, and I figured I would come in.

"This dress cost two hundred dollars." I look down at the light pink, flowered one-piece dress I'm wearing. Every single pair of my pants got too tight for me, so I've been in dresses. “So there is no one dragging anyone."

"If he's not dragging you." Clarabella gets up and walks around the desk. “He's not doing it right."

"Are we going to discuss anything else but sex?" I walk toward my office, and both my sisters speak at the same time.

"No." I can't help but laugh.

"Well, I'm not discussing the sex, but I will say that I feel so liberated." I put my purse down in the chair and walk over to the desk.

"Oh, God, if she starts singing 'I am woman, hear me roar.’" Clarabella sits on the couch facing me. “I'm going home."

"I am not going to sing anything." I roll my eyes at her.

"So why do you feel so liberated?" Shelby asks as she sits next to Clarabella, who leans over and grabs her coffee cup to take a sip.

"I have no idea." I shrug. “Maybe because I'm not keeping the secret that I'm in love anymore."

"It wasn't a secret,” Clarabella says. “And if it was a secret, you suck at keeping secrets.” All I can do is glare at her. “Do you guys not have anything else to do today?”
