He pulls up to the cabin, and just like the first time, I let him walk in first just in case we have special visitors that I’m not okay with. He comes out smiling. “It’s all clear.” He walks down the steps to me. “I love you.” He kisses my lips, then moves to the side so I can walk into the cabin. My head is down, and when I step inside, I look up at the glow of candles and stop in my tracks.

The whole living room looks like it's been cleared out, and painted in the middle of the wall is “You have my whole heart for my whole life,” and under it is fairy lights that hang down, and pictures of us fill the whole wall. My feet move on their own as I look at the pictures we've taken in the past six months. I turn around seeing white, peach, and ivory roses that fill the room. A massive vase sits in the middle of the room with a sign in front of it that says, it has always been and will forever be you.

I put my hands to my mouth and turn around to see Luke in the middle of the room down on one knee; the sob rips out of me, and I bend down, trying to laugh and smile while I cry tears of happiness. “Wow, this is a lot easier than I thought it was going to be," Luke says to me, and I see his own tears in his eyes. “When I went to ask your mother for your hand in marriage, I was so nervous." I put my hand to my chest that he went out of his way to ask her, knowing how hard it must have been for him but knowing that it was what I would have wanted. “And the whole time leading up to this minute right here has been a roller-coaster ride to say the very least." He laughs. “But kneeling in front of you, knowing that I'm going to ask you to spend forever with me, is the calmest I've ever been. Clarabella, there is not one day that goes by that I don't have a smile on my face. There is not one day that goes by that I'm not thankful for so many things." He looks down. “Especially since I didn't have much to be thankful for. There is not one day that goes by that I don't think I'm the luckiest guy on earth because I get to come home to you. Because I get to wake up with you. Because I get to kiss your lips when I want. Because I get to hold your hand. Because I get to cheer you on when you become the boss lady. Everything about you makes me love you even more. I know that you don't need someone to make you whole." He laughs. “But I need you to make me whole. Without you, I'm a shell." He takes the black box out of his back pocket. “Clarabella, will you be my wife?"

I can't help but laugh. “Is that above being your woman?" The question makes him laugh.

"It definitely gets you a tiara," he says, opening the top, and to be honest, I don't even fucking care what’s in the box. It could be from a Cracker Jack box.

"I mean, if I get a tiara," I say, laughing as the tears pour down my face. “Yes."

The minute I say yes, I hear commotion behind me and look over to see my family coming out of the bedroom. "About time,” Presley says, coming over to me and hugging me.

"What are you guys doing here?" I ask them after I hug my mother.

"Sorry to intrude on your naked weekend,” my mother says, and I can hear moaning coming from Luke. “But I couldn't not be here."

"Can we just go outside so we can sit down?” Presley says, looking at us.

"We can bring the couch in from the bedroom,” Travis suggests, and she just shakes her head.

"They have naked weekends here." She points at me and then Luke. “There have been ass cheeks and ball sacks all over this place." She puts her hand in front of her mouth. “And I, for one, am not touching anything."

"You helped decorate," I point out.

"She wore gloves and a mask,” Shelby shares with Ace beside her, his arm wrapped around her shoulders.

I look over at Travis, who has Harlow beside him as she hugs his waist. “Um," I say, looking at everyone in the room and then back at Luke. "We're engaged, right?" I ask, and he just looks at me, and the only one who is thinking what I'm thinking is Presley, who groans. "How hard would it be to get married here?"
