Chapter Twenty-One

“What did you think of your first trip to Blaze, Maya?” Deke asked in the car on the way home.

“I had a great time. What about you?” she politely asked.

“I enjoyed it. I spent time with the other Daddies I haven’t seen in a while. We even thought of some fun activities like a picnic and maybe going to the movies.”

“Oh, that sounds like fun,” Maya told him.

“Good. I thought you’d enjoy those.”

“I had a blast, Daddy. Everyone was very nice. Ellie has so many friends. It’s amazing that one cupcake shop has brought so many people together,” Maya beamed.

“It is. I have a feeling there are more Littles in our town that haven’t been found yet.”

“Really? You think there’s more?” Maya asked.

“I see a lot every day at Stuff-It.”

“No one you’re interested in, right?”

“Not a single one unless you walk through the door, Precious Girl. I’m a one-Little-girl Daddy. I waited for a long time to find you.”

“I can’t believe this is our life now,” Maya whispered. She wrapped her arms around her body to hug herself.

“The Daddies offered to come over this weekend and help me move your stuff to my house. What do you think?” Deke asked.

She could tell he was trying to sound casual, but that this was important to him. Maya hummed like she was having to consider it. She tapped her chin. After a few long seconds, she said, “I went home on my lunch break to start packing.”

“You Little…”

“Girl?” Maya jumped in to suggest before giggling.

“Exactly. I knew no matter how precious you are, there had to be an evil side,” Deke teased.

“I’m not evil,” Maya protested.

“Of course you aren’t. You just like to tease me, don’t you?”

“Maybe?” She grinned up at him.

“I have tomorrow off. What time do you go in?” Deke asked her.

“I’m off as well. Want to help me pack so we can be ready for the Daddies who are coming over?” Maya asked.

“I didn’t say I’d accepted their offer,” Deke said quickly.

“Sue’s, Ellie’s, and Riley’s Daddies set a reminder in their phone with my address for Saturday.”

“Okay. I did accept. I could always cancel,” Deke assured her.

“No way. I don’t think it will take long. I have some kitchen stuff to put in boxes. Most of my clothes are already at your house. I do have some personal stuff.”

“We’ll find a good place for everything. If we have an overlap of appliances, we can donate mine,” Deke suggested.

“You’re really planning on us staying together, aren’t you?” Maya said, feeling her eyes fill with tears.

“Forever and ever, Precious Girl,” he told her as he pulled into the driveway.

When the car was safely stopped, he unbuckled her seatbelt and pulled Maya into his arms. After kissing her softly, he used the bottom of his shirt to wipe away her tears. “I’m never going to let you go, Maya. I love you. When you’re ready, we’ll plan a big wedding and invite all your family and our friends.”

“You want to marry me?” She blinked furiously to keep the next influx of tears away.

“I’m not even going to ask you, Precious Girl, because I’m not taking no for an answer. When you’re ready, we’ll get married.” He repeated that last part again, and she knew he understood that she needed to hear it again.

“Okay,” she whispered.

“That’s my girl. Now, let’s go in and get ready for bed. We have a big day tomorrow.”

“Packing,” she said, nodding.

He set her back in her seat, turned to trigger the garage door opener, and pulled his car into the bay. Her car already sat protected on the other side. It looked like she’d already moved in. Maya grinned.

“What were you all signing up for in the daycare center?” Deke asked casually when he opened her door.

“Oh, we were all signing up for parties.” Maya revealed absentmindedly as she tried to think of everything she needed and what she could get rid of.

“Parties, huh?”

Her brain clicked back on, and Maya realized that she’d just ruined all the secret plans. “Could you just forget I said anything?”

“Nope.”

“Are you going to tell the other Daddies? The Littles will never talk to me again,” she pleaded.

“I think the others will still be your friends. They might be relieved that their bottoms aren’t getting spanked for planning something they know their Daddies won’t like,” Deke suggested.

“They’re all going to hate me,” Maya wailed. Her phone buzzed in her hand and they both looked at it.

“Ten bucks says someone already ruined your plans and you don’t have to worry that I know,” Deke said confidently.

“I’m not going to bet ten dollars that one of my friends couldn’t keep a secret,” she answered, crossing her arms over her chest.

Plucking her phone from her hand, Deke ushered her into the house and remained silent. It didn’t take long.
