“Jesus, Amelia. You feel so damn good.”

My fingers moved lightly over his back as Wade reached under me, pulling my ass toward him so he could get deeper, fill me more. He moved in and out of my body in the most delicious way.

“I’m not going to last very long, darlin’.”

“Feels so amazing. I don’t want this to end,” I panted. I wanted him to take his time, yet I wanted to feel more from him.

Our mouths crashed together while Wade moved slowly.

“This going slow is killing me.”

Smiling, I let out a chuckle. “Same here.”

He pushed in deep, his body flush against mine.

“Wade, faster. Please, go faster.”

“Thank fuck. I need more of you,” he grunted while he pulled out and slammed into me so hard and fast I cried out.

“Yes!”

“You like that, darlin’? Are you getting close?”

“Oh God,” I panted.

Our bodies were covered in sweat as we became lost in one another, our hips meeting thrust for thrust. My orgasm was beginning to build, and I could feel it in my toes.

“Wade!” I cried.

“That’s it, baby. I can feel you squeezing my dick. I’m so close, Amelia.”

He pushed in and let out a growl from the back of his throat, sending me into sweet oblivion.

“I’m going to come. Oh God, yes, I’m coming!” I cried out, and my entire body shook as stars danced behind my eyes. I could feel Wade grow bigger.

“Amelia,” he groaned out. “That’s it, baby. You feel so good falling apart with me inside you.”

Moving his hands under me, he grabbed my ass and pushed in deeper, sending me diving off the cliff into another round of utter bliss.

It felt like it lasted forever.

“Look at me, Amelia,” Wade said as he pushed deeper.

My eyes opened, and I felt like I was floating down from heaven.

I’d never experienced sex like this. It was beyond amazing.

No. This wasn’t sex. This was Wade making love to me.

“I’m going to come, darlin’.”

I grabbed his arms and arched my back as we fell together.

Wade’s fingers moved across my arm as we lay on his bed. After discarding the condom, Wade brought in a warm washcloth and cleaned me off. It was the sweetest thing a man had ever done for me after we’d been together. Then he crawled back into his bed and held me.

“I’ve never experienced anything like what we just shared,” I said, breaking the silence.

He placed a soft kiss on my shoulder. “I feel the same way. It felt like I couldn’t get deep enough. Close enough. I wanted to crawl into your body.”

I smiled. “Do you think it will always feel like that?”

He let out a chuckle, “Yes.”

Rolling over to look at him, I lifted a brow. “Really? You think when we’re sixty years old and having hot sex in the rocking chair it will feel the same way? Because that was the best moment of my life.”

He ran his finger along my jaw. “I think it will be even better because that’ll be years of us learning each other’s bodies, and all that practice makes perfect, right? I’ve fallen in love with you, Amelia Parker, and now my life’s mission is to make sure every time we make love it’s magical.”

My lips pressed tightly together. I fought to keep my tears at bay, but lost. A single tear trailed down my cheek.

“Happy tear?” Wade asked, wiping it away with his thumb.

I nodded. “I’m going to have such great material for my books with you around.”

His eyes widened in shock before we both laughed. Flipping me onto my back, Wade reached for another condom. “I guess it’s time to show you my wild side then, huh?”

Giving him my sexiest smile, I replied, “Bring it, cowboy.”

Laughter came from the kitchen as I walked in through the back door.

“There she is!” my mother said.

I scanned the room to find my mother, Paxton, Waylynn, Corina, and my best friend from high school, Jen.

“Wow. Are we having a secret women’s meeting or something?” I asked, setting my workbag on the island.

Waylynn and Paxton both stared like I had something on me. With an evil little smirk, Waylynn asked, “Where have you been, little sis?”

With a half shrug, I replied, “Working. Watching April have her calf.”

“Who?” Jen asked as I gave her a quick hug and kiss on the cheek.

“It’s a giraffe. What are you doing here?”

She held up her hand. “I’m engaged!”

My mouth fell open as I stared at the diamond on her finger. “Martin?” I finally managed to ask.

“Yes! I’m getting married. I came over to ask if you would be in the wedding.”

She pulled me into a hug, and I looked over to Paxton and Waylynn. Both were attempting not to laugh.

I took a step back. “Wait, Jen, you just started, um, dating. You don't think this is too soon? To get married?”
