I head into the locker room and collapse onto the bench. I guess I’m heading into the gym after lunch. I strip off my gear and decide to hit the showers early. I usually can last all day without needing one but with my fitness levels down, I feel a warm shower should perk me right up.

I grab my things and rush through a shower which manages to make me feel better but doesn’t help my leg. Hmm, I wonder if Elle is busy right now… better yet, I wonder if she’s had her lunch.

I get myself dress and head back to my locker to grab my phone and wallet. I find a text message waiting on my phone and grin the second I see her name show up on the screen.

Elle – Alright, Captain, I’ll give you the satisfaction of being able to call yourself my boyfriend.

Fuck yeah, that answers that question. I am definitely heading up there and buying her lunch today and every other day for the rest of her life.

I walk the familiar path that leads to her office and push my way through her open door to find her hunched over her desk with her head resting on her arms, half asleep.

“Am I interrupting something?” I ask.

She gasps as she flies up from her desk and turns to find me standing in her doorway. “Holy shit, Logan, you scared me.”

“Sorry,” I laugh as I walk in with a limp. “You busy?”

“Oh yeah,” she says sarcastically, “Super busy. Why the hell are you limping again?” she questions with narrowed eyes.

“I might have over-done it this morning,” I tell her.

She crosses her arms over her chest and I have to grin as the action pushes her tits up. “Are you kidding me?” she sighs.

“Are you going to fix me?” I ask.

She ignores my question as she walks towards me with a smirk. "So, what you're saying is that you were too busy showing off this morning and training harder than you should have been or you were just looking for an excuse to come and see me. Either way doesn't look good for you."

I groan as I grab her and pull her into my arms. “You’re lucky I like you,” I tell her before pressing my lips to hers. “Are you going to fix me?”

“Depends, are you going to buy me lunch?”

“Oh, I don’t know about that,” I tease.

“Please,” she begs. “I skipped breakfast and ended up eating my lunch as soon as I got here,” she admits.

“Well, you’re lucky that was my plan when I came up here…”

“Why do I sense a ‘but’ coming along?” she grins.

“Tell me what I want to hear,” I demand as I press her up against the massage table.

She presses her lips together and looks up at me with those beautiful big eyes. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“You’re a terrible liar,” I smirk.

She smiles, confirming what I knew was true. “And if I don’t?” she questions.

“No lunch for you,” I tell her.

She presses her hand against my chest and flares her fingers, making herself look like a seductive little vixen in the process. “You wouldn’t be bribing me, would you, Captain?” she murmurs as he reaches up onto her tippy toes and lightly touches her lips to mine.

“You wouldn’t be trying to distract me with your wicked charm, would you?” I counter.

She smirks as she closes that final gap between us and presses her lips to mine. I devour her like Christmas lunch as I sit her up on the massage table. I gently pull away from her. “Tell me what I want to hear,” I repeat.

She smiles and I see her becoming shy right in front of my face. “We can give this thing between you and me a real go. You can be my boyfriend rather than my man-friend.”

“Thank you,” I say as proudly as ever before helping her down off the table.

I step away, ready to take her to lunch but she remains glued to the spot. “What’s up?” I ask as I turn back to her.

She looks up at me with absolute fear in her eyes, a look that I would do anything to take away. “Don’t break my heart,” she begs.

I pull her into me once again and look her deep in the eyes, allowing her to truly see me. “Never,” I say, letting her know just how serious I am about making this thing between us work. She nods as she accepts my declaration. “Good, now can I please feed you?”

“I thought you’d never ask,” she says, slipping her hand into mine and taking off.

“Slow down, babe. I can hardly walk here,” I remind her.

“And whose fault is that?” she grins back to me.

Fuck, I love her smart mouth. Usually, when a girl is sarcastic and tries to play cute, I can't stand it but on Elle, I just want more, though, our first fight is going to be interesting, seeing as though we're both sarcastic, stubborn and need to be right.
