Lucas pointed his way. “You have serious anger issues, cousin. I like it. Makes you way more interesting. If you go around beating up a bunch of people, maybe my dad will stop talking about my perfectly normal for my age sex drive.” He put a hand on his chest. “Louisa, you look lovely this evening, and it’s obvious you’ve pleased your Dom. Now I’m going to go find a pretty sub and bitch about how my cousin tried to kill me.” He grinned, looking every bit the young Viking his father had once been. “Sympathy sex is awesome.”

Lucas strode into the dungeon.

Lou stepped in front of him, her hand going to his jaw, brushing along it as she gave him what seemed like every bit of her softness. “Are you all right, Sir? You had a day, too.”

He had. “I felt helpless, and I still feel a bit of that. They took you. They put hands on you, and Oliver being alive right now required an act of restraint on my part.”

She was so pretty as she went on her toes and kissed his cheek. “I thought it was an act of restraint on Zach’s part, but I don’t mind rewriting a little history. Thank you for not killing him, Sir. I appreciated the lack of blood. Now what do you say you show me what you have in store for me.”

She would be able to manipulate him so easily. All she would ever have to do was turn those big doe eyes on him and he would give her anything she wanted. And if she would give him the power here, it would all work out. He would worship her with all parts of his being satisfied by one woman.

He kissed her forehead and took her hand, leading her into the dungeon. Soft industrial music thudded through the place. It wasn’t the greatest sound system, but it worked for them. LED lights gave the space a moody vibe, painting the subs and Doms in pretty greens and reds and blue. The main stage was taken up by Gabriel Lodge, who had not one, but two subs tied to St. Andrew’s Crosses as he used dual single tails on them.

Kenzie and Parker stood on the edge of that crowd with their babysitters close by. They passed by the lounge where Lucas was obviously telling Seth Taggart the story of how TJ had tried to kill him, which earned him a thumbs-up from Seth before he went back to staring at the woman sitting at the bar. Gabriel’s sister, Chloe.

So much sexual tension, and he didn’t care about any of it. He didn’t want to be on the main stage or in the middle of gossip. He’d planned this evening, and it was going to be a private one.

“A privacy room,” Lou said when he started up the stairs. There was another stage on the second level, along with the space they sometimes used for what they referred to as fight club, though now it held a couple of chaise lounges where members seemed to be getting warmed up for the privacy rooms. Or they might do it right there. The second floor was a free for all outside of the rooms.

“I want you to myself. I don’t think this first time should be in public. You’re not the exhibitionist my cousins are, but we can explore later if you like,” he explained. “Unless you don’t want to be alone with me. Are you scared of what I might do to you?”

Bratty, gorgeous eyes rolled. “No. I’m not scared.”

The dungeon monitor stood watching over the room. The big guy nodded his way. Ross Brighton. He was roughly TJ’s height and had recently been promoted. He was one of the DPD’s youngest detectives working homicide. He knew how to keep his mouth shut. His sister was another issue.

“Hey, Ross. Is your sister here?”

Ross shook his head. “Naw. She’s helping Lou’s mom with some wedding this evening. They spent three days making the cake. Why?” He seemed to suddenly understand. “Ah, you want to make sure she doesn’t tell Lou’s mom that you’re finally doing it.” He leaned in. “Because it’s like one of those fake situations for whatever op the team is running here tonight. Not to worry. She won’t know anything about it, so you’re safe. Lou, you want me to bring you up a book or something? How long do you two have to hide? I can keep watch if you’re worried about the newbies seeing you and blowing your cover because you’re not blowing each other. Though I was surprised at how thorough TJ here was. There’s some crazy shit in that room. You are really dedicated to playing out this undercover thing.”

He was going to have to make an announcement. Maybe he could put it in the club’s weekly newsletter.
