There. That was a language he likely understood.

“You’ve got until the end of Rush Week!” he called out after me.

I gave him a casual wave over my shoulder and continued on with my escape. All I wanted was to get back to my dorm, where I could empty this nut, imagining how it would look all over Jay’s bubble butt.

I walked out onto the huge front lawn bordered by tall palm trees. All of Frat Row was lit up for the night, every house throwing as big a party as they could. Delta Iota Kappa, or DIKs as everyone fondly called them, appeared to have the biggest crowd gathered on their lawn. It was like a literal dick-measuring contest, except most of these guys were too drunk to even get it up.

Not me. I was tipsy, but my dick still worked, and I planned on working it at least a couple of times before the night was over.

It was time to clock in—cock in? Cock clocked in? Whatever, I just wanted to jerk off.

My dorm was only a short walk away from Frat Row. I had the option to live off campus, but I liked to be right in the thick of it. Plus, I lived two doors down from my best friend, Colton Lee. We grew up together, so it was nice having that kind of connection to my past just a minute or two away. I wouldn’t say I had a difficult childhood by any stretch of the imagination, but Colton was unfortunately on the other end of the spectrum.

Colt had dealt with tragedy after tragedy, shit that no kid should ever go through. When he lost his parents in a car crash three days after the start of our freshman year in high school, our family immediately took him in. That was something I loved about my dad: his heart was in the right place when it came to people.

The planet? Not so much, but he was always there for me and my friends.

A whoosh of cool air greeted me as I stepped into the dorms. The clean scent of freshly washed laundry drifted from the room to my right, where someone was up late doing one of the worst tasks known to man.

My thoughts drifted back to my dad as I walked past flyers advertising some internships in finance. It was the route my dad wanted me to take. Following his footsteps and shit. If I had it my way, I would drop my major in finance and focus solely on a software engineering degree. That was where my heart and soul lay.

I especially didn’t want to fuck with the environment the way my father’s company was.

Yeah. Fuck that noise.

I just had to figure out a way to tell my family. That was going to be the hard part.

But it would also be a problem for Tomorrow Ryan. Today Ryan had a different agenda, and it currently grew harder and harder to ignore it.

I made my way through the common spaces of the dorm, the white-bricked walls a little different to the white pine and black marble slabs that made up my family’s living room. Erica and Jane, two friends who lived above me, were sitting on the tan couches with towels wrapped around their shoulders. They had trash bags full of clothes by their feet while Sheree, one of our RAs, spoke to them as she tapped away on an iPad. She was still dressed in her pink-and-white pajamas.

“Ryan!” Erica got up from the couch.

“Hey, did you guys decide to take a midnight ocean swim?”

“Ryan, oh my God, no. Our dorm, it flooded. Can you believe it? A pipe burst, and all of a sudden, it’s like we’re under a waterfall. It really freaking sucked.” Her wet brows dipped downward. “I think your dorm got damaged too. Sorry if you lost anything.”

“Ah, shit,” I said, scratching the back of my head. I wasn’t necessarily worried about my things getting wet. I had the money to replace whatever I needed to. I was more concerned about where the hell I would sleep tonight.

As if reading my mind, Sheree looked up and waved me over.

“Hey, Ryan, I was about to call you. Your dorm got flooded.”

“I heard.”

“We’ve got an emergency placement ready for you. It’s over in the Sherman Dorms. It’s a double, so you’ll have to share with someone. Is that okay?”

“Yeah, that’s fine,” I said, slightly disappointed I couldn’t drop my shorts and jerk off in my own space. But whatever. The exhaustion was beginning to overtake the horniness. Sheree gave me the rest of the information before I went to my room, stepping around the puddles of water that the janitors hurriedly cleaned up. Students congregated in the halls. I expected to see Colton since he was one nosy motherfucker, but he was also one heavy-ass sleeper.
