Sevastyan took another deep, controlling breath and exerted more pressure on her scalp to pull her head away from his cock. “Listen to me, Flambé. You don’t want this.”

Startled, she looked up at him, her eyes going almost pure green. “That’s not true, Sevastyan. I do. I don’t know why you would think I don’t.”

He was feeling a little desperate with her mouth so close, the heat on his cock with every word she said. He caught at his trousers and yanked them up, trying not to see the misery in her eyes or feel the very real pain in his cock. He burned like hell. “Just get dressed, malen’koye plamya, so we can talk in peace.”

She lifted her chin at him, and with the graceful movement of a female leopard was on the other side of the car, pulling on her clothes in silence, dressing with sure efficiency. There had been defiance in her chin lift and he felt that challenge in every cell of his body. He snapped his teeth together, keeping his gaze wholly focused on her. She sat in her seat and buckled her seat belt.

“Start talking.”

“I have absolutely no idea what you want to talk about, unless you want to explain your sudden lack of interest in me sexually.”

“You’re not going to turn this around, Flambé, you know exactly what I’m talking about. Sooner or later we’ll be completely alone and you’ll run out of excuses. You’ll have to have the conversation whether you want to or not.”

She sent him another frustrated and very defiant look, which made him want to grab her by the nape of the neck and have her finish the job she’d just started when he’d tried to be a gentleman. The only problem was he was certain that was what she wanted and that he’d be playing right into her hands. He was not willing for her to distract him.

FLAMBÉ worked for an hour, her gloved hands packing dirt around the fragile roots of the lacy plants she inserted along the little stream Cain insisted she incorporate into his garden of paradise. She had to admit, as the plants had begun to mature, that the garden really was quite beautiful. The greenhouse was cleverly disguised as a huge bar for Cain’s patrons to quietly sit at tables and enjoy the various shows going on while they sipped at drinks or just visited with one another. The tables were high enough to see over some of the plants and low enough to accommodate couples who became aroused at what they were watching.

Flambé had planted in stages, allowing the first of the plants to take root before adding the next. She knew Cain wanted to see if he liked what she’d done. She knew he would. She’d been careful to incorporate the various sexual equipment into the garden, although, at first, she thought it was a horrible idea. Now that she understood about his club and the clients, she knew he was right. She was careful to use each piece sparingly and only if it fit in with her theme.

There were groupings of tables and chairs, the tables at different heights, and the chairs were BDSM chairs so they could enjoy one another as they relaxed in the garden. A small path led to a black label bondage couch near the window, where the occupants could view the various shows taking place, but could also take advantage of the various positions they could enjoy while watching. She was careful to keep her precious plants out of harm’s way so any enthusiastic couple couldn’t hurt an exotic.

There was a spanking bench used as an ottoman and a low cage as an end table, both grouped in a seating area with several comfortable chairs. The garden area ran down the center of the building and Cain liked it so much he was already building an addition to it, enlarging it. His clients loved it. The bar at the front of the building had screens where they could see the various rooms, but the screens didn’t provide the intimacy of viewing the way the garden did.

To be honest, Flambé was really very proud of the design. She’d worked hard to bring it to life. It hadn’t been easy to work with Cain at first. His idea of the Garden of Eden clashing with the Garden of Sin had been a little extreme for her. She’d had to envision the concept as another landscaping job, with intriguing puzzles that would have to be solved. She liked puzzles. She liked to find ways to make really bare spaces beautiful. Sometimes clutter needed to be bare. It could be that simple. She needed to spend time in the space and understand it.

She needed a trellis of some kind for the exotics he wanted to grow up and over, to wind around. Cain wanted to incorporate a piece of equipment called St. Andrew’s Cross. It was far too big and bulky. She couldn’t find a place for it in her space, although she told him in the newer section she would try. Then he came up with a different one. This was a sleeker design, more of an hourglass shape and one she thought she could work with if anchored properly. It was called a BDSM Triangle Cross. She didn’t care what it was called as long as it didn’t move. Cain’s men had installed it a couple of weeks earlier, in the hopes that the plants would arrive.
