He dismissed those nagging thoughts and focused on the joyous feeling of warmth in his chest, on the pink nipples he saw every time he looked down at Laurent, and the way Laurent watched him, as if Beast held all the answers. He would not spoil this for himself. Not now. He would take everything he could and enjoy it while it lasted.

“It’s not every day that you officially become the vice president of the Kings of Hell.” Laurent smiled, pressing against Beast’s side when they stopped for Beast to enter the code to his door.

Beast chuckled, slightly embarrassed that he sounded so giddy, but he was with Laurent, so maybe it wouldn’t be taken the wrong way. “I think I already got the best surprise I could have,” he said, pulling Laurent into the dark living room. He didn’t bother searching for the light switch, because he knew his home by heart. He immediately turned toward the corridor that would lead them to the master bedroom. His dick was so hard it almost felt sore, but he would wait and make this night count.

Laurent smiled at him in the darkness, following his lead as if there was no one else he’d rather be with. Beast could recall in all the vivid detail how Laurent’s cock tasted, how it throbbed against his tongue and palate, and how desperate to come Laurent had been minutes ago. At his age, Beast had already fucked too many guys to count, and yet for Laurent it was all a fresh start, which in turn made Beast feel as if he was doing something completely new.

He opened his bedroom and switched on the small lights behind the black wooden headboard instead of the main lamp, for a more intimate atmosphere. He briefly wondered if he should offer Laurent something to drink, but he figured it would have been odd, and formal, and in truth he just wanted to get rid of the tight clothes that were so incompatible with Laurent’s personality.

Thank God he always kept his home tidy, and he’d recently changed the sheets to a soft black set that would be such an exquisite contrast to Laurent’s pale, wonderful skin. He closed the door and looked up, only to stiffen at the sight presented to him.

Laurent stared at the old-timey clothes hung on the door of the wardrobe so that Beast could look at them from the bed. He stepped closer and ran his fingers over the sleeve of the blue tailcoat. “You got it cleaned…”

Beast felt suddenly breathless and unsure what to say. He’d been so exhilarated over getting his hands on Laurent that he’d forgotten all about the clothes. He’d meant to return them to Laurent after he picked them up, he really did, but without Laurent here to fill Beast’s house with conversation, it was the only thing he had left of him. As pathetic as that was, he’d just wanted the imagined closeness to last a little bit longer.

“Yes. I... forgot to give them back to you.”

Laurent ran his fingers over the pretty enameled brooch in the lapel of the jacket. “I worried it was lost,” he said so softly that the tight sexy clothes looked even more out of place on him than before.

“No, no. Sorry I didn’t tell you. I kept the brooch here, just in case. Is it antique?” asked Beast, trying to cover his restlessness. Straightforward questions should do the trick.

Laurent finally turned around, looking up into Beast’s eyes. “It was a gift from my mother. I’m sorry to be spoiling the mood. It doesn’t matter. I’m just happy to have it back.” He smiled yet seemed to be waiting for Beast’s move.

Beast sank down to sit on the edge of his bed and reached out for Laurent. The sadness at the very edge of Laurent’s voice was drilling its way through Beast’s body, making it flush with the need to know everything about Laurent and his past, to be closer to him, to be everything to him. “No, tell me. I want to know.”

“She… My parents gave me up when I was still a young boy, but it’s fine, really. I’m a grown man now, I can fend for myself.” He came closer and straddled Beast’s lap, wrapping his arms around Beast’s neck.

Beast gasped when Laurent rubbed against the cock straining his jeans, even if just slightly. The contact made his head spin, and he moved his fingers up and down the bare spine uncovered by Laurent’s obscene clothes. “Don’t act so brave. Give me space to help you out,” he said with a brief chuckle.

Laurent smiled at him and pushed closer, first to reach for another kiss. A gentle one this time, all soft lips and barely-there touches. “It’s thanks to you that I have glasses, Beast. You’ve helped me out plenty.”
