“Should’ve just gotten one giant bed,” Sol pointed out with a smirk on his face.
My face flushed as they glanced over at me with suggestive smiles on their faces. I never got enough of being with all of them. At first, I thought things would be tough and overwhelming, but I loved them. I was comfortable around them, and I wouldn’t trade my time with them for anything else in the world.
“Behave. We have a job to do,” I told them pointedly. We had many new students flooding in who needed encouragement and guidance. This wasn’t the time to flirt and tease, especially since I couldn’t resist them.
Zephyr and Sol stood on one side of the doors, flashing wicked looks at each other. They had a plan on their mind, and it didn’t take long for them to glance over at Theo. They talked with their smiles and with their eyes, making plans right over my head all the time.
“You know, I wouldn’t mind seeing their progress on the dorm so far,” Theo mentioned to us.
I lifted my eyebrow at them.
“Right now?” I asked.
“Right now,” Sol replied, placing his hand on my back to lead me farther into the building. They walked at my sides as we ventured through the hallways toward our new suite. When we stepped inside, my eyes widened at the sight of a whole wall that had been taken out.
“Wow,” I said, glancing around the room, which still had some construction tools and tarps laid around. For the most part, they were nearly done. All they had to do was put down new flooring, clean a little, and move all of their things into the suite. The beds were already set up without any sheets yet.
Zephyr, Sol, and Theo gradually moved closer to me, and I didn’t realize one of them had shut the door until I turned to face them. I crossed my arms and gave them a stern look.
“We’re supposed to be working,” I reminded them. My desire to show freshmen around was dwindling with each step they took, though.
Sol moved behind me, his fingertips brushing against my waist, while Theo stood at my side, sweeping my hair away from my neck. Zephyr remained in front of me, his eyes locking with mine.
“I think we can take a break for a little while,” he replied as he leaned close to me, cupping my chin. “Don’t you think?”
Wordlessly, I nodded and closed my eyes, feeling their lips and hands roam over me. Their touch felt like fire, warming me up inside and outside. They easily controlled my bliss and made me feel like I was in pure paradise. That was what love felt like.
“I love you… all of you,” I breathed out as I opened my eyes to peer at them. No matter what happened in the future, we would figure out a way to remain together and happy, because I refused to lose them. I loved them too much for that.
“You know we love you,” Theo replied for all of them. “We’ll give you whatever you want. All you have to do is say the word.”
A sultry smile crossed my face as I looked between the three of them. When it came to what I wanted, the answer was easy. It had been in front of me the entire time I was at Stormcloud. I only recently saw the whole picture.
Together, we were better. Stronger. Safer. So, my answer was obvious.
“You.”
