He palms my throat and tugs my head back. Then he leans into my ear and starts talking dirty. He’s so damn hard. I didn’t think he could get any harder.

“That’s it. That’s my girl, fuck me. Fuck me like you know you own me.” He slaps my ass. “Fuck me, Shawn, fuck your husband.”

“Harder,” I cry.

Sweat starts to cover my face and my heart is racing. However, I don’t stop and neither does he. He devours my mouth as he pulls out and taps my pussy with this length. My eyes cross.

“So good,” I keen.

He turns me onto my back and covers me with his body. Thrusting into me, he reaches for my ass and pumps into me. I claw at his ass and squeeze around him.

“Fuck, yes,” he moans and licks from my collarbone to the center of my throat, then up to my chin. I open my legs wider and pull them back. He palms my thighs and really dives in.

We cycle through at least ten songs before the banging on our suite door starts. Josh keeps pumping into me on the bed.

His cheeks are flush and his hair is all sweaty. I’m convulsing like a madwoman beneath him. He grasps my face in his hand and moves to whisper in my ear.

“Put on a robe and come out in two minutes if they’re still questioning me,” he says.

I nod and look up at him in shock. My eyes widen when I see the purple marks I’ve left on each side of his neck. I furrow my brow.

This is really happening. He pulls out and goes to grab a towel to wrap around his waist. We’ve fucked our way out of the rest of our clothes, so we’re both completely naked at this point.

Looking toward the balcony, I see the papers still out on the table. I wrap myself in the sheet quickly and go to grab them and shove them into my purse. Following Josh’s instructions, I then wait two minutes.

“Hello, we’re sorry to bother you”—the guy, who I assume is the manager, looks down at his tablet—“Mr. Nikolaou. These officers would like to ask you a few questions. There was a man pushed from this side of the hotel and they’re questioning all our guests on this side.”

“Wow, that’s terrible. How can I help you? Would you like to come inside?”

Both officers look me over. One leans in and whispers to the other. I reach to push my hair out of my face. The officer listening to the other widens his eyes and turns to his partner to say something and nods toward me.

The partner looks at me and they both grin. I look at them expectantly. They glance down at my towel. I’m still semihard beneath.

“No, I don’t believe we need to come in,” the whispering officer says.

“Are you here alone?” the other one asks.

“No, my wife is here.”

Right on cue, Shawna walks up behind me. Placing a kiss on my shoulder, she wraps her arms around my waist. I turn to look back at her. She lifts onto her toes, and I peck her lips.

“Is everything okay?”

“They say someone jumped or was pushed from one of the rooms,” I reply.

“He was pushed.”

“Oh, sorry. It’s a shock to hear either happened.”

“Is there anything we can do?” Shawna asks.

“No, it seems you’ve been busy. We won’t disturb you any further,” one of the officers says as he eye fucks my wife.

“This is our last day here. We will be returning to the States this evening. Would you like my card?”

“Yes, we’ll take your number,” one says.

“Mr. Nikolaou. Are you related to Basil Nikolaou?” the other asks.

“Nai, aftós eínai o pappoús mou,” I reply.

“I don’t think we’ll have any further questions. Thank you. Have a safe trip back to America.”

“Thank you.”

I close the door and Shawna collapses against me. I hold her upright and lead her back to the room and pack our things to go.

Chapter 72

Taunting

The Real Problem

Present…

“What the fuck were you thinking? You were not supposed to kill Ulysses,” I seethe.

“You weren’t going to do it.”

“Because I have half a brain, asshole.”

“You said you needed him gone. He served his purpose. Josh wasn’t biting and I need to trigger him. If I can’t trigger him, then I need him out of the way. It’s a win-win for me.”

“No, it’s not, you idiot. Do I have to spell this out for you?”

“Ulysses was the only reason we’ve been able to hide all this time. I had him bankrolling this operation because he wanted to take them all down. He didn’t see it coming. I was going to take them all down and his son in the process. You just blew everything up.”

“No, I didn’t.”

“Yes, you did and you don’t even see how. You can’t frame him for the murder. He wasn’t in the fucking country. You know how I know he wasn’t in the country?”
