Yeah, saying it aloud made the sex sweeter.

“I’m ther—” Dev’s body tensed. His ass clamped around Cash, causing his rhythm to falter.

The darkening edges of his vision exploded into a blinding bright kaleidoscope of color. His body bowed under the pleasure as he emptied himself deep inside Dev.

He was lost to his biker. His biggest temptation and only salvation. If only they were in bed, he’d sleep. Drift off to dream land with his tattoo-covered prince sprawled beneath him.

“You weigh a million fuckin’ pounds,” Dev panted, his face and body smashed into the mat. The position and person passed out on top of him, made breathing damned difficult.

“You’re never happy,” Cash whispered huskily against his ear. Cash’s tender lips pressed against the shell of Dev’s ear before he used one of those beefy arms to hoist off him. About a third of the way up, Cash lost his strength, tumbling heavily down again.

Any lingering breath he’d managed to gain was pushed from his lungs. Good. At least now he knew his fate. Death by asphyxiation was imminent.

“You wore me out, Devilman.”

Instead of trying to rise again, Cash pushed his hands under Dev’s body, trapping him from underneath. Cash nuzzled his face into the crook of Dev’s neck. “If only we could stay like this forever.”

“Yeah. Same. But get off me.” Dev had to gather all his strength to lift enough to dislodge Cash, rolling him to the side. Cash brought Dev with him, refusing to let go. His pretty boy was a cuddler. Dev wouldn’t admit it aloud to anyone, but with Cash, he was one too. Except this angle hurt.

“I’m a mess.” Normally being covered in come, having it drying on both the front and back of his body wouldn’t bother him too much, but his mister was a clean freak. Some of that attitude was rubbing off on him.

Seconds later, Dev was released, unceremoniously tumbling back to his belly as Cash rose to a sitting position, assessing the cleanup situation.

“Hang on,” Cash said and rolled to his feet in that fluid way he had, heading straight for the open kitchen. Mmm. Dev dropped his chin on the back of his hand, lost in the beauty of all that naked flesh. Too bad Cash liked to wear all those clothes. He looked so damned good out of them.

His guy was damned considerate too, flipping on the faucet, allowing the water to run as he rolled several paper towels around his hand. He tested the warmth of the water, letting out a long, jaw-cracking yawn.

Cash dampened the towels, swiped it over his belly and cock before coming back to Dev. His sweet guy took it upon himself to clean Dev’s back.

The chill of the towels was completely unexpected. Dev twisted away from the contact. “Hey now,” he yelped in surprise.

“What do you expect?” Cash said smugly, again reaching for Dev to continue the offensive assault. “It takes twenty-five minutes to get hot water. Does anything work properly around here?”

His skin was too heated, the towels too cold. Dried come seemed far better than the cleanup option. Dev rolled to his knees while grabbing the towels from Cash to efficiently swipe his front by himself. “I’m a first-time landlord. Maybe I didn’t get everything right, but I’m learnin’ as I go.” As Cash opened his mouth for a rebuttal, Dev’s brow cocked in challenge. He lifted a hand to cover Cash’s lips. The insults needed to stay inside. “Tell me what they said about additional security?”

The teasing came to an abrupt end. Cash’s entire body tensed. “Why? Has anything else happened?”

“Only that your bein’ freaked out has finally got me freaked out,” Dev drawled, carefully cleaning his belly. The suspicion had Cash sitting back on his heels, assessing Dev’s truth. The crease between his brows settled in place. He didn’t believe Dev. “That’s it. I swear.”

Cash rolled his eyes, his head followed, turning away from Dev as he got to his feet. Cash took the towels from Dev’s hand. Technically, he wasn’t finished, but he let it go, watching as Cash tossed them in the trash before reaching for his clothes. He dressed quickly, said nothing more and started out of the apartment.

“What the hell, Ryan?” Dev called out, jumping up, tugging his jeans back in place. The sudden blast of ice-cold air spoke to how truly awful he was at being a property owner. Just another thing to add to the list of shit he couldn’t get right.

“I did what I had to do.” Dev tried to reason, grabbing his Henley off the floor, following Cash out. How was Cash already halfway up the staircase?

“I bought us time,” Dev yelled at the base of the steps like a damn broken record.

And the goddamn secret agent ignored him a-fucking-gain.

He hated that shit and took the stairs up two at a time in loud, stomping steps. He wasn’t coordinated enough to put on the shirt and climb the stairs as quickly and jauntily as Cash had. “The government’s stretchin’ you too thin. I actually helped my team out. I’m a goddamn team player.”
