She pinched the tip of the condom, then rolled the latex down and over his aching erection.

“There!” she said, sounding proud of herself.

He chuckled through gritted teeth and pushed her back down on the bed. “Okay, you’ve had your fun. Now it’s my turn.” He straddled her and looked into her gorgeous face.

“What comes next won’t be fun?” She deliberately batted her lashes, teasing him.

He shook his head and grinned. When was the last time he’d enjoyed a woman in bed for anything more than sex? She was entertaining and he intended to take advantage.

“Hands and knees, smart aleck,” he said.

Her eyes opened wide, but she immediately scrambled to switch positions and do as he demanded. He rose to his knees and ran a hand down her back, over the bumps in her spine, and around one round cheek and then the other.

She trembled but remained in place, and he leaned over, lifting her hair that hung around her face. “You’re gorgeous, Jade. I need you.”

“Then what are you waiting for?”

He kissed her cheek and positioned himself, his cock ready. He slid a hand through her sex, finding her wet and ready for him, and his entire body throbbed in anticipation. He put one hand on her hip and used the other to guide himself to her entrance.

The moment he inched in a notch, she groaned and pushed back, sucking him inside her in a smooth glide he hadn’t expected. Her slick body clasped him in heat and he saw stars.

“Jesus, Jade. Give a guy a little warning,” he said, though he wasn’t complaining.

She laughed and wriggled her ass. “Move, dammit.”

Now she’d done it. Grinning, he slapped one pale cheek, pulled out, and slammed back in deep.

“Oh, God!” Her pussy spasmed, gripping him tighter, and he picked up his pace.

His cock demanded and she gave, as he pummeled in and out of her body. The rhythm sparked pure pleasure. Between her vocal sounds, the noises created by their slick bodies, and the pulsing of her core around him, he broke into a sweat and ground his teeth to keep from coming.

A sudden need rushed over him and he pulled out completely.

She moaned. “Knox, no.”

He flipped her over and she stared up at him, wide-eyed. “I want to see your face.” He brushed her hair off her flushed cheeks. “I need to look into your eyes,” he said as he thrust back in hard.

She whimpered and drew up her legs. He pushed her knees back. “Don’t move.”

She gave him a short nod.

Certain she’d leave them in place, he braced his hands on either side of her head and let himself go. He thrust into her over and over, losing himself in her cries and the pleasure rushing through him, but never breaking the connection he’d sought.

His eyes remained locked with hers, and her gaze held steady as they climbed higher. He was strung so tight, it wasn’t long before he felt a warning tingle rushing along his spine. His balls drew up tight. Knowing he couldn’t hold off any longer, he slid his fingers between them, running one over her clit, rubbing until she began to come.

She stiffened beneath him and ground her body into his. “Knox, I’m… Oh, God. I’m coming.” Her eyes lost focus and her body shuddered around him, triggering his release.

He came so hard he damn near lost consciousness as he pounded into her, then finally stilled, as he continued to fucking come.

Eventually he collapsed and immediately rolled over so as not to crush her. “Jesus.” He laid a hand over his forehead as he did his best to come back to himself.

He turned his head and found her eyes closed, dark lashes fanned over her pale skin as she pulled in deep breaths. At the very least, he knew she’d come as hard as he had.

“Are you okay?” he managed to ask.

She turned and met his gaze. “I really don’t know,” she muttered, her cheeks flushed red. “That was intense.”

It sure as hell was, he thought. “I hope that means it was good for you, too.”

His wisecrack did the trick, and she burst out laughing, breaking the tension. Because that experience had shaken him as nothing else ever had.

He got up and walked to the bathroom to get rid of the condom and clean up, returning with a washcloth for Jade. Her cheeks remained a pretty pink, telling him that nothing about tonight had been in the realm of normal for her, either.

He tossed the small washcloth onto the nightstand and turned to pull her against him.

“I should go,” she said softly.

Oh, hell no. He understood the need to run, and she’d made her intentions, or lack of them, clear. But so had he. “You promised me one night,” he reminded her, then wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her close. “And tonight isn’t over yet.”
