He gripped the back of her neck and drew her close until his mouth met hers. Desire swept through her, and she clenched her thighs around him, letting the brief wave of sensation wash over her. She swirled her tongue around his, and his mouth glided over hers, taking, demanding. Certain. Because this time he’d thought things through. He knew what he wanted and he was showing her.
It. Was. Glorious.
He nipped at her bottom lip and she rocked her hips, creating the friction her body needed. His fingers combed through her hair, and he pulled off the scrunchie, tossing it onto the floor. Her damp hair tumbled over her shoulders, and he wound the long strands around his hand, tugging until she tilted her head, giving him deeper access.
“Fuck, you taste good,” he said, his thumb running over the pulse point in her neck, a move he followed with his tongue gliding over her skin.
Desire rippled through her, her underwear slick and wet. She grabbed the hem of his shirt and slipped her hands beneath, settling her palms on his muscular chest. “You feel good,” she murmured into his mouth.
“So do you. I don’t know where to touch first. Here?” The pad of his thumb slid over her bottom lip. “Or here?” He slipped one hand beneath her dress and held her waist in his hand. “Or here?” His talented fingers eased downward until his palm cupped her sex in his large hand.
“Hey, kids! I’m here to help set up for the barbeque… Oh, shit. Sorry!” Dash’s voice interrupted them and Sasha broke the kiss.
She jerked herself away from Xander, and only his strong arms kept her from falling backward on her butt.
“Goddammit, I’m taking back your key,” Xander muttered.
He helped her to her feet, his hands remaining on her waist until he was sure she was steady. She gave him a nod and stepped back, aware her cheeks were burning and flushed as she turned to face his brother.
“I didn’t mean to interrupt.” Dash spread his hands in front of him. “Sorry?”
Xander rolled his eyes. “Have you ever heard of using the doorbell? Better yet, text or call before you just show up next time?”
“The band is arguing again,” Dash said, and Sasha realized he had serious issues going on with his band.
He obviously wanted to talk to Xander, and she needed to make herself scarce. Being alone would give her time to process what was happening between her and Xander. To decide how far she was willing to take things between them knowing for certain how things would end.
“Umm, I’m going to let you two talk. I can help you prepare for the barbeque, too. Let me know what I can do. I’ll be in my room going over the script,” she said.
“Are you sure?” Xander asked, longing and desire still in his eyes. “You don’t need to go.”
She glanced at Dash and shook her head. “Yes, I do.”
Dash shot her a grateful glance, and she hoped he’d put his grudge against her away. At least then she’d have another Kingston on her side before the rest of the family descended this afternoon.

Xander ran a hand across his head, his short hair prickling his palm, and drew a deep breath before turning to his sibling. “What the fuck, man?”
“I could ask you the same question. Are you looking for a repeat of the past?” Dash raised an eyebrow.
“I know what I’m doing. I’ve thought it through. Not to mention I’m an adult. But forget about me. What’s wrong?” Because his happy-go-lucky brother … wasn’t.
Dash liked to show up where Xander was. Even as kids, Xander would wake up and see his sibling sleeping on the floor in his room. But the look on Dash’s face now wasn’t good, and it had nothing to do with finding Xander almost making Sasha come in the kitchen. And he would have had her moaning his name with just the rocking of his hips. Hell, he’d probably have come, too, in his sweats like a fucking teen.
Except they’d been interrupted, and he was still hard and stuck with Dash, who shoved his hands into the front pockets of his jeans. “I think Dominic may quit,” he said.
“Hell.” Losing their drummer would be a huge blow to the band, who had been together since the beginning. “Want to talk about it?”
Dash shook his head. “I just wanted a breather from the pressure, so I came here. How about you?” He pulled out a chair and sat down, straddling the back. “Exactly what did I walk in on?”
Xander raised an eyebrow. “You need a lesson in sex ed?”
“Fuck you,” Dash said, laughing. “You know what I meant.”
“I already told you I know what I’m doing.” And he wasn’t going to discuss his feelings for Sasha with his brother. Hell, he had no desire to think about them himself.
