“I know,” Raffaele said, putting a heavy hand on Nate’s side.

Nate barely resisted the urge to squirm even closer to him. This was important. He couldn’t get distracted. “Really?”

“I didn’t choose a job for you randomly.” Raffaele’s lips curled into a wry smile. “You ranted about Rangers 5’s flawed level design so many times I knew you’d like an opportunity to work on the level design of the next game.”

Nate blinked, touched and a little surprised that Raffaele had actually paid attention to his rants. Most people didn’t, just rolling their eyes when something set off Nate’s favorite topic. Maybe Raffaele did know him, after all.

“Yeah, it’s my dream job,” Nate said, stroking Raffaele’s bicep with his knuckles. His fingers looked awfully pale against Raffaele’s gorgeous skin. He lifted his gaze to Raffaele’s face. “But I want you to reduce my salary. I want to earn a pay raise like everyone else does. I don’t want people to say that I get paid more because I sleep with the boss.”

Raffaele’s lips pressed together. “No one will dare say anything.”

Nate laughed. “Not about you or to you. People who hate you will keep hating you, and people who admire you won’t think less of you just because you fuck an employee. But me? I’m fair game. It was easy enough to hide that we were having sex while I was your PA—I was always with you and no one dared to enter your office without knocking. But it’ll be impossible to hide it when I work in a completely different department. People are already talking, Raffaele. And it’ll only get worse. Everyone will soon be saying that I’m your fucktoy, and if they find out about my salary, they’ll—”

“You’re not my fucktoy,” Raffaele said, exuding irritation.

Nate smiled humorlessly. “But that’s what people will be saying. Everyone knows you don’t do relationships—”

“It’s a non-issue.” Raffaele laid a hand on Nate’s nape and sucked on his bottom lip. “All I’ll have to do is change my Facebook relationship status. And it’ll take five minutes for the entire company to know.”

That was… That was actually a pretty good solution. Being in a serious relationship with the boss would still raise people’s eyebrows, but it would be nowhere near as harmful to his professional reputation as being the boss’s fucktoy. But wait…

“Isn’t fraternization forbidden in the company?” Nate murmured.

“Only within the same department.” Raffaele lifted Nate’s leg and, hooking it over his hip, slowly slid his cock back into him.

Nate gasped, his eyes slipping shut again. He was just as hard as Raffaele was. Already. Fuck, he hadn’t missed his nymphomaniac tendencies around this man. His hole was already eager for more despite being a little sore. He couldn’t get enough of this intoxicating feeling—of having Raffaele’s cock inside of him, thick and perfect. Sometimes it still took him aback, how much he loved being fucked by this man. Something about being taken by him was incredibly, toe-curlingly satisfying. He couldn’t imagine doing this with another man. But with Raffaele, he couldn’t get enough of this.

“It doesn’t matter anyway,” Raffaele said, his dark eyes a little unfocused as he slowly pumped in and out of him. “I’m the boss. I make the rules.”

Groaning, Nate buried his face against Raffaele’s shoulder. “Fuck, why is your arrogance so hot?”

Raffaele just laughed and proceeded to fuck his brains out.

Much later, as they lay tangled, exhausted, and sated after round two, Nate had almost drifted off when he felt lips against his ear and heard a quiet, “We can try to hide our relationship if you prefer that.”

Nate forced his eyes open. “What do you mean?” he mumbled, his cheek still pressed against Raffaele’s chest.

“I don’t want to put you into an awkward position,” Raffaele said. His voice was steady, but there was a certain reluctance to it that Nate didn’t miss.

“You hate the idea of hiding,” Nate stated, more curious and surprised than anything else. He had thought that given the choice, Raffaele would prefer to keep quiet about their relationship. He’d avoided relationships for years.

Raffaele didn’t say anything for a while, his strong hand stroking Nate’s back, up and down. Nate was nearly purring from how good it felt.

“Yes,” he confirmed at last, his voice slow as if he was just realizing it. “I’m not used to it.”

Nate snorted softly. “You’re just used to getting your own way. Hiding would mean that you care about other people’s opinions.”

“That too,” Raffaele said dryly. “But I want everyone to know that you’re mine, especially all those besotted idiots in your department.”

Nate laughed a little, kissing him on the chest. “You’re exaggerating. They’re just being nice to me.”

“They stare at you all the time and all but drool. It’s disgusting.”

Nate smiled. He couldn’t deny he was pleased. Of course he wanted Raffaele to think he was attractive, but… “I’m not that attractive. There are better-looking people out there.”
