That wasn’t exactly an ego-boost.

And my mind would have over-thought that to death if he hadn’t thrown me off by his next question.

“You like my cock, Dell?”

“I, ah…”

“Simple question,” he claimed. “You like how it feels buried in your tight pussy?”

“I… yeah,” I admitted, since there was really no denying it.

“Good. Because I want in as much as possible.”

“I’m only here for the weekend,” I told him.

“Me too,” he agreed. “But I didn’t just mean in Vegas.”

“We… can’t,” I reminded him.

“Your brothers,” he guessed.

“Yes.”

“Don’t have to know.”

“They know everything,” I said, shaking my head.

“They don’t have to. We can be discreet.”

But did I even want that?

Did I want just sex from someone?

Everything in me was saying I wasn’t built that way, that I needed more, that as good as the sex was, I was going to want more.

And if there was one thing I definitely couldn’t have with him, an outlaw biker my brothers didn’t approve of, it was a relationship.

I mean, bikers didn’t really even do relationships, did they? It certainly didn’t seem like it with all the flirting and screwing around they did in town.

“Jass…”

“How do you know my name?” he asked, suddenly stiffening. “No one calls me Jass.”

“I like it better,” I admitted.

“Dell, you didn’t answer me,” he said, sliding out from under me, so he could look down at me.

“I just… I knew who you were,” I admitted.

“How?”

“I grew up in Shady Valley,” I reminded him. “You knew who I was too,” I reminded him.

“Actually didn’t,” he said, making my gaze shoot up. “Not until your brothers showed up at the clubhouse anyway,” he told me as he got to his feet, and started to walk toward the bathroom.

He mostly closed the door, but called out to me from inside as I heard the trash open and close, then the water turn on.

“So you knew who I was when you walked up to my table.”

“Yes,” I admitted, suddenly feeling a little too exposed, making me rush to grab a pair of panties and the t-shirt I’d been wearing earlier.

“And you wanted me to pop your cherry?” he asked, appearing in the doorway again, naked as the day he was born, giving my makeshift outfit a small smirk.

“I… it’s…”

“It’s what? Complicated?” he asked, brow raising. “Seems like something that would have happened a while back. With some undeserving shithead you went to school with.”

“Are you teasing me for not losing my virginity when I was younger?” I asked, stiffening.

“Questioning giving it to a random criminal fresh out of prison,” he clarified.

So just questioning my judgment then.

That stung a little more than it should have. It wasn’t like he could have known how into him I had been before he’d gone away.

Some sort of self-preservation didn’t want me to tell him that, either.

“You’re kind of being a jerk right now,” I told him.

“I never claimed to be a good guy, Dell.”

“Clearly,” I said, chin lifting.

“You got to admit it’s weird as fuck to let someone fresh out of prison take your virginity on a filthy prep table. Without even telling him.”

I understood some validity to his argument, but I couldn’t help but feel a little, I don’t know, judged right then.

And the fact that he was forcing me to have this conversation after what we’d just done felt just wrong.

“I think you should go,” I said, folding my arms over my chest.

“Don’t be like that,” he demanded, shaking his head at me.

“I’m not being like anything,” I said. “I’m tired. It’s late.”

“Don’t like being called out on your shit, more like,” he said.

“My shit,” I repeated, jaw getting tight. “I’m sorry that taking my virginity was such a hassle for you, Judge. Lucky for you, you don’t ever have to worry about that again. Now get out of my room.”

“Got a little of that Murphy temper, huh?” he asked, smirking at me, which only managed to make me more annoyed with him. “Do your brothers even know you’re here?” he asked. The truth must have been on my face because he let out a chuckle. “They don’t, do they?” he asked.

“What do you care?”

“I don’t. Just surprised you had the balls to defy them is all.”

“Well, seems like I should have listened to them about you,” I said, feeling my lower lip quivering because while he was right, I had my family temper, I also had this habit of crying when I got annoyed or angry.

Another smirk pulled at his lips as he took a couple steps toward me, reaching out to grab my chin, his thumb tracing under my lip.

“That’s kinda cute,” he decided.

“It’s not cute. I’m annoyed with you.”

“Yeah. And it’s cute as fuck,” he said, taking a step back to grab his pants, getting back into them. “Go ahead and be pissed at me for a couple hours. Bet you’ll be begging for my cock before dinnertime tomorrow.”
