“Clothes,” I tell him, batting my eyelashes. Jasper moves past us to get to his wife before going to his brother. I watch them getting into a screaming match. Carter puts Vini behind him while pushing his brother back. Sadie puts her hand on his chest trying to calm him down.
“Alright smartass. What do you say you and I get out of here and I can prove to you what you’re wearing isn’t clothes.” My face begins to heat up, but I nod my head and lean into him. With one hand behind my head and the other on my behind. He groans into my mouth, pulling me flush against him. I can feel the outline of his bulge and it hits right where my pleasure button is.
I moan back at him, trying to rub furiously, get the right friction because something about being in a public place being mauled by my husband who is insatiable because of me, is making this moment even more sensual. “Alright you two knock it off,” Tobias says, clearing the table. Ducking my head I pull back and giggle, hiding in Jude’s shirt.
“Maybe if you weren’t such a grumpy ass, Lloyd would match you sooner.” Tobias doesn’t respond. He simply scowls and takes the plates off the table.
Jasper and Sadie take off ahead of us, with Rachel and Miriam in tow. I look and see Lavinia is still with Carter, but now they are sitting close together in the booth. “Should we just leave her here?” I ask Jude, conflicted about what to do.
“Baby girl, your sister is a grown woman. You can’t make her leave and I know Carter. He might like her, hell I believe he might like her a lot, but he also respects the sanctity of marriage. In my opinion, he is simply trying to make her feel good. Something her idiot husband should be doing.” Everything he says makes sense and though everything in me is telling me to go to her, I listen to my husband and walk out, telling myself to go see her tomorrow.
Home with the door locked, my husband turns and looks at me, licking his lips. “So, did you enjoy your girls night out?” His voice is low and tempered, but his eyes are sparked full of fire. My knees begin to shake. His hands are unbuttoning his shirt and watching those big fingers makes my stomach clench.
“It was fun.” I manage to say, while being immobile.
“I’m glad baby. I want you to have fun and make friends and do whatever the hell it is you want to do.”
“I know.” Licking my lips I watch his shirt hit the floor exposing his naked chest to me. I sat up one night and counted his abs, I think they call it. He has six of them and they all feel like bricks.
“Good. It makes me happy that you know all I want is to make you happy. But what you don’t get to do is show my skin and body to anyone, baby girl.” He moves in front of me, and rips open my shirt. “All of this belongs to me, baby. From your beautiful dark hair, to your porcelain skin down to your fucking pinky toe. And a skirt that comes above your knees is too much fucking skin.”
“I-I’m sorry.” I breathe out so aroused it is leaking down my thighs. He pulls my skirt down and lifts me under my butt. I wrap my legs around him and look into his eyes. “I love you so much, husband.” He kisses my nose and walks up the stairs.
“You are my life, wife. Forever.”

Ten Months Later
“Come little princess, let’s be quiet so mommy can sleep.” I rock my three-week-old daughter Luz in my arms after changing her diaper and putting her pacifier in her mouth. Three weeks ago, my wife, my partner and my best friend gave birth to this little ray of light, named Luz Alexandria Blackstone, the jewel in my heart.
The past ten months have been a whirlwind of triumphs and love. My wife finished driver's ed, learned to swim, and began her online personalized designs business. She named it: From Hannah with Love.
Four months ago, the construction crew finished her studio in our backyard, and she even has a staff member to help out. My mother who used to be an interior designer came and helped out with the nursery and the town is moving in the right direction. But nothing beats the miracle in my arms right now. Looking down at my sweet girl, tears come to my eyes when a teeny hiccup leaves her mouth. “Do you need to sit up, princess?” I ask changing her position and pat her back.
Her tiny squawks make me smile, especially when her little pink face scrunches up and she tries to make her presence known but she is still so tiny. Gripping her tiny hands, I wait for her to wrap her hand around mine and the peace that comes with having this little person to protect is unparalleled. She snuggles into my arms and attempts to fall asleep again. I cherish these moments because usually she is squealing for her mama’s milk, and I am just the lovestruck fool staring at the two loves of my life.
