“The one with the crazy hair,” he guessed.

“Nope, that’s Crazy Bitch.”

Mick became captivated with the game, leaning against the bar to watch after he gave Jewell her boilermaker.

“The one with the tiger print top?” Rory gave her his second choice.

“Nooo … That’s Sex Piston.”

Rory gaped at her. “Who’s she married to?”

“Stud. He’s the president of the Destructors.”

“The curvy one?”

“That would be T.A., Ginny’s sister.”

“The one at the end of the table?”

Jewell leaned back so she could get a better view of the table then straightened. “Which end?”

“The left.”

“Her, I have no idea. You’ll have to ask Mick if you’re interested.”

“She’s not Killyama.”

“No.”

“Then I’m not interested.”

“Take another guess,” Mick encouraged.

“I give up. Which one?”

“All the black leather didn’t give you a clue?” Jewell rolled her eyes.

Rory had to peer closer through slitted eyes to see the woman sitting in the darkest corner. Of course, he wasn’t about to admit that in front of Mick, who gave him a disgusted snort as he walked away.

“Yeah, right,” Jewell scoffed. “Turn the heat up, Mick. It’s freezing in here,” she called out to Mick’s retreating back.

“It’s hot enough in here!” one of the women from the table shouted.

Rory pinpointed the tiger print woman as the one who had yelled when she continued.

“You can’t take the cold unless you have a Last Rider keeping you warm?”

Rory started to snap back at the woman who Jewell had told him was Sex Piston.

“Don’t engage them.” Unperturbed, Jewell continued to drink her boilermaker.

Laughter filled the table.

Taking a swig of his beer, Rory tried not to let it bother him.

“You should come and sit with us, sweet cakes.”

Rory tried not to look at who was crooning to him, but he couldn’t resist. It was the one with big hair—Crazy Bitch.

“There’re twelve of us, and there is just one of her. Jewell will tell you herself, more is always better.”

Drunken laughter came from the table, except from Killyama and the woman whom Jewell didn’t know.

“No …” Rory began to say until he saw Moon and Mick motioning for him to come there.

“What do they want?” he asked Jewell.

“I’ll take a stab in the dark and say they want to talk to you.”

“Should I go?” Not wanting to leave Jewell alone, he remained seated.

“Go. I’m cool. I don’t let them get to me.”

“You sure?”

“Positive. While you’re over there, tell Mick I want a Black Velvet and a hamburger. I’m starving.”

“I’ll order the burger. You should slow down with the alcohol,” he advised.

Jewell gave him a death glare. “If you’re going to be a buzz kill, you can stay over there or go back to the club. Why do you think there isn’t a man in sight over there?” She nodded toward the women who were harassing her. “Men ruin a good time.”

“What’s the magical number you prefer, Jewell?” Crazy Bitch snickered out.

The one who Jewell had told him was T.A. tried to shush her.

Moon kept motioning for him to come over.

“Why won’t he just come over?” Rory eyed the biker.

“Because he’s smart. Will you go see what he wants? What did you not understand about me starving?”

Fuck me to hell in a handbasket! Rory cast the women at the table a warning look before getting up to make his way to Moon and Mick. The only reason he had given in to their demented waving was to order Jewell her hamburger.

Laughter followed after him.

“Ooh … I’m so scared.”

Rory was beginning to recognize the grating tone of Crazy Bitch’s voice. He almost turned around to confront the women then decided to wait until he came back after he ordered for Jewell.

“What in the fuck do you want?” Rory began when he drew close to Moon. Before he could move, Moon dragged him down onto the stool next to him.

“I’m trying to save your fucking ass. Brother, you don’t want any part of what’s about to go down with those killer bitches.”

Gaping at him, Rory became worried for Jewell and started to stand back up. Moon pushed him back down.

Rory pushed Moon’s hands away. “I’m not going to stand by and watch them hurt Jewell. Why don’t you go over there and stop them?”

“Because I don’t want to diiiiie.” Moon pretended to slit his own throat. “Those bitches are vicious.”

“Then call for more of The Last Riders to come.”

Moon made a face at him. “They won’t take two steps near them when they’re this drunk. The last time they did, they ended up in jail.”

“You’re joking.”

“I’ve already texted Evie. She’ll be here soon with reinforcements. Just hang tight and stay here; it’s closest to the door. Mick, put some music on. If it gets worse, I’ll call Reaper.”

“Why not call him now?”

“He’s a last resort. Makes them horny. Their men have a card game going on at Dalton Andrews’s house. They’ll …”

Rory didn’t think he had heard that last part right.
