Shrugging, I pulled the phone up and dialed the number. On the third ring, someone picked up.

“Sergio’s, how can I help you?” a young woman’s voice answered.

“Hi, I would like to know if you deliver up the moun—”

“We do.”

I paused for a moment.

“I haven’t told you where I live yet,” I said.

“Antony will deliver,” the voice said. “Is your address in Ashford?”

“Yes?”

“Then Antony will deliver. Hey, Antony!”

There was a shuffling sound like the phone being handed off to someone else, and the next voice I heard was a squeaky male voice.

“Hello, this is Antony. What’s your address?”

“Umm.” I suddenly remembered I had no idea what the address was off the top of my head. I ran into the living room, grabbing one of the letters my mother had sent my aunt. “101 Holly Drive.”

“Okay, what would you like?”

“A pizza?”

“Cheese? Toppings?” he asked.

“Pepperoni,” I said. “And pineapple.”

I waited for the audible eye roll or sigh of discontentment, but none came. That was a happy surprise. I was used to people making fun of me for that one.

“Anything else?” he asked.

“Do you do two liters?” I asked, realizing all I had to drink with me was wine and bottles of water.

“Sure.”

“I’ll take two of those. Whichever lemon-lime one you have and a Pepsi.”

“Okay, will that be cash or card.”

“Card,” I said.

I read off the card number as he punched it in slowly and then confirmed the price of the order.

“Alright, I should be up there in about fifty minutes,” he said.

“Thank you,” I said.

As I hung up, I looked around the room and decided that I was done for the day. I had enough room on the oversized couch that I could lay down a sheet and then stuff it with pillows and blankets and sleep just fine. The only thing I needed was a shower. The combination of the travel and the work the last few hours had me sweaty and tired. I wanted to get into pajamas, eat pizza like a pig, and watch dumb TV until I fell asleep.

The duffel bag with my clothes was in the bedroom, and I went in and unpacked it, laying them out in stacks on the bed. Eventually, I would put new sheets on there and probably sleep on the same mattress. Unless I could get a new one cheap somewhere. At least it was king-sized.

Taking my pajamas into the bathroom with me, I cleared out all the soap and shampoo bottles that were there, replacing them with my own and lighting a candle to sit on the back of the commode. Then, I shut off the light, turned on the water, and let the tub fill up. I had almost an hour. I could relax in a tub rather than a shower.

Suddenly, a thought blazed across my mind, and I couldn’t stop it. I pictured Jason’s broad shoulders in that white T-shirt and how they would look underneath the water. How they would look wet, beads dripping down from his neck to his chest. How his hair would look slicked back as he leaned against the wall of the tub.

The heat between my thighs was unbearable. It had been so long since I’d even been on a date, much less anything else. The thought of Jason in the tub was… too much.

I climbed in and lathered myself with soap before sinking down under the water. Slowly, I let my hand slip between my thighs and my finger brush over my clit. My eyes closed, and I thought about Jason, his boyish grin being the only thing he would wear.

I imagined his cock in my hand, warm and hard. His body hulking over mine as he settled between my legs and folded me up like an accordion. I tried to envision how his face would screw up in pleasure when he entered me, how he would moan at the sensation of his cock buried deep in my pussy.

Increasing the speed of my fingers, I let myself sink into the vision and soon was writhing in the tub, bringing myself to climax and shuddering as I sank back down into the water.

Finally relaxed, I let myself doze for a while, happy and content and warm in the water.

Until my phone rang.

Sloshing water everywhere, I flailed as I tried to get my grip in the tub. I wiped my hand on a towel and grabbed the phone off the sink, opening the call just in time before voicemail picked up.

“Hello? It’s Antony with Sergio’s. I think I am at your house… but it… looks abandoned?”

“Keep going,” I said. “It’s a trailer a little further down the path.”

“Oh, that’s right,” his squeaky voice said. “I’ve been here before. Be there in a second.”

By the time he arrived, I was out of the tub and dressed, hair still wet from where it went under when I snapped awake. I tipped him well and took the food and drinks inside, setting them on the coffee table and settling into the couch. At least I had pizza. Nothing was ever that bad if you had pizza.
