“Conor,” she gasped and a possessive sound rumbled from my chest.
“You feel so fucking soft, baby,” I murmured. “I can’t wait to slide my cock into—”
At this she brought her hands to my shoulders and gently pushed. Immediately, I released her. “You okay?” I asked, studying her expression. There was a hint of embarrassment that made me wonder if I was taking things too far, moving too fast. I’d wanted Yvonne for a long time but her attraction to me was much newer.
“I’m fine, I just…” she trailed off, glancing at the clock then bringing her attention back to me. “As much as I’d love to stay here all day with you I really need to get back to the club.”
“Of course,” I replied, unable to tear my eyes away as she started fixing herself, pulling her bra back into place and tugging her knickers up her shapely thighs before tugging down her skirt. She’d gotten self-conscious again and I hated it. I wished I could make her understand that there was nothing she could do that would ever not be mesmerising to me. I was obsessed. She glanced around my office, biting her lip.
“Is there a bathroom I could use?”
“Yes,” I replied, pulling my pants up and motioning to the door at the back of my office. “Just through here.” I placed my hand on the small of her back, inhaling the faint notes of her perfume. She slipped inside the bathroom, shooting me another shy glance before she closed the door behind her.
I ran a hand down my jaw, worried I’d overwhelmed her. How had I managed to turn sharing a meal with her in my office into her pleasuring herself on my couch and then sinking to her knees to suck me off? I knew none of it would’ve happened without my encouragement and I just hoped she didn’t regret it.
I was buried deep in these thoughts when the bathroom door opened and she emerged, her appearance back to rights. If it weren’t for her flushed cheeks and puffy lips you’d never suspect what had just transpired between us.
Her gaze flicked to mine, briefly tracing my features before she glanced down at the slim gold watch on her wrist to check the time again. “Well, thanks for, um…”
A wry smile touched my lips. “I think I’m the one who should be thanking you.”
She blinked, her eyelids fluttering as her hand went to her neck where a blush was forming. “Right, well—"
My heart beat hard, some sort of protective instinct kicking in. “Let me order you a cab.”
“Oh no, that’s not necessary.”
“Yvonne,” I said, my tone chiding. “I’m calling you a cab. And I’m paying for it, so don’t bother arguing.”
I pulled up the app on my phone, ordering a car for her as she went to gather her coat and scarf. I moved to her side, helping her put both on and just barely resisting the urge to pull everything off again and take her against the wall.
“The cab will be here in five minutes,” I said. “Let me walk you down.”
I saw the protest on the tip of her tongue but she must’ve seen the warning in my eyes because she didn’t say anything. I placed my hand on the small of her back once more and led her out of my office. When we were in the corridor, I took her hand, lacing my fingers with hers. I couldn’t help it. After what we’d just done I needed the contact. I’d always been into snuggling after sex, and though I hadn’t been inside of her I still felt the need to pull her close, hold her in my arms. I wanted that more than anything.
She was quiet as we went down in the elevator and I would’ve given anything to know what she was thinking. What frantic thoughts were buzzing through her mind.
“You okay?” I asked again, moving to stand in front of her as I tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. I still held her hand. I wouldn’t be letting go any time soon. At least not until the cab arrived.
“I’m okay. I just…” Her lashes fluttered, eyes finding mine. “I can’t believe we did that.”
“Do you regret it?” Please say no. My heart was in my Goddamn throat as I waited the few seconds for her to respond.
Finally, she shook her head and relief flooded me. “I would never regret being with you, Conor. I think you’re amazing. I’ve just never done anything even remotely like that before, and especially not in a place of work.”
“Me neither,” I said, a small smile tugging at my lips, my voice full of affection as my tone lowered. “You bring it out of me.”
She chuckled, biting her lip again and making me want to suck that same lip between my teeth. “I think you’re the one who brings it out of me,” she countered, something almost forlorn entering her gaze when she went on, “But it probably shouldn’t happen again. I told you already, I’m not right for you.”
